I'm really impressed with the process of elimination skills you utilize. You're right, it was Ringo. I always thought it was because Ringo (no offense to Ringo) had the least amount of talent and had the least amount to say. But I think you've probably nailed it (no pun intended) on the head with the "Sweet Sixteen" song.

OMG Chocking here.. the least talented of them???not sure about that but definitely the quietest vocally. LOL.

I believe in Drumming circles he is quite renowned for his unique drumming style(not sure if that is the proper way to term it) and I perhaps am mistaken on this but isn't he also the most musically versatile of the crew.

Yes I am defending Ringo.

I have no idea why except maybe because I came to appreciate his talents as an adult.

Any way some notes on him and his career

yes it is Wikipedia

All about Ringo

Okay and Reason Craig Liked him LOL Waysider Still cracking up over that one.

Edited to Add.. I love the Beatles and find them all incredibly talented So don't bust my chops. LOL

Sorry I dissed Ringo just to get a laugh. Okay, he wasn't necessary the least talented, just the quietest. I remember Craig brought Ringo's album up to top floor wierwille and played a couple of songs for us and just loved it. It literally could have been "You're Sixteen" that he was gaga over. Did Ringo ever do a Country-Western album? Hey, I love the Beatles too, those Marxist Minstrels. I have an autographed hammer and sickle!!!

Ah yes. I remember hearing LCM's "great insight" into the death of John Lennon. Some of his other "insights" were that Muhammad Ali was born of the seed of the serpent and it was actually a devil spirit that ko'd Sonny Liston in Ali's first title fight (Cassius Clay at the time. Bill Russell (the great NBA star) was possessed and that's how he rose to great basketball stardom. I'm sure he had plenty to say about Michael Jordan but I was gone by then. In contrast, Adolf Hitler was brilliant. Seriously, he said that at an Advanced Class. I think it was AC '81 or '83. That even made me take a double-take at the time. I know what you mean about sitting there and doing nothing. Of course, if we had said something we would have just been escorted out of the building and branded "possessed". But so what? Oh yeah, I almost forgot. If we left The Way we would be "greasespots".

Now how would Wierwille and Martindale know about devil spirits and possession unless they were Sataniclly possessed themselves? Actually dictators like Hitler and Stalin, and those of similar obsessions may actually be evil, yet VPW and LCM praise them as being godly(MOGFODAT) who are misunderstood. Kettle calling pot black analogy.

I never actually heard that. I recall the "lost tribe" thing. The conspiracy theory mentality allowed for a lot of this thinking to go unchecked.
