Exodus 5:1

And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

Exodus 7:16

And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

A message that, I believe, the Lord God is STILL sending......to every cult out there.

Purpose: That they may serve me.

i'm wilma flinstone so i don't know about tags

but i think that it was so very cool and wonderful that god was / is always saying to let his people go so that they can serve him

that makes me really happy

ps. it took me a bit to get over the initial freakout that it's the OT :confused:

When Jesus People were in Wierwilleland, Let my people go. Go down Victor, way down in San Fransisco, and capture my people now. :biglaugh:/>

Let My People Go.......and Moses carried the Lord's command to Pharaoh. Time and time again, the Pharaoh refused to hearken.....and the plagues ensued upon the land. The Lord backed up His commands with strength and consequences. The Lord was NOT to be dismissed or denied.

Yeah.....I suppose, a couple of years from now, when someone is reading this thread

they might be scratching their heads and thinking, "What?"
