80 is the product of 40x2

He then quotes directly from number in scripture and leaves a clear reference, kudos there. Give credit where it is due. From number in scripture:

"forty relates to a period of evident probation. >> (Vern changes it to trial and probation) But where it relates to enlarged dominion, or to renewed or extended rule,"

Then he goes to Genesis 41:32 where he states that "in our Biblical research ministry we have learned that two means established"

Eighty is the product of 8x10

Vern then quotes again from number in scripture on the number 8: "Hence it is the number specially associated with Resurrection and Regeneration, and the beginning of a new era or order."

Vern then quotes again from number in scripture on the number 10: "ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers"

So Vern copiously borrows from Number in Scripture and at least leaves a reference to where he is getting his material.

It is exciting and encouraging to look at these numbers in light of the ministries continued restoration and rejuvenation.

So vern spiritualizes the heck out of the way international and leaves the readers to draw their own conclusions as to what in the actual eff he is talking about.

Dear Vernon,

Number in Scripture is actually a sleight of hand move by EW Bullinger to introduce Gematria into Christianity. While, Bullinger is not the first to do so, Gematria is associated with the Kabbalah - which is an occultic version of Jewish Mystiscism. Vern what you are propagating is Christian witchcraft. Everything I say here is verifiable with just a short and easy google search. The way international continues to propogate the occult blend of Christianity, which is Christian in name only. Please repent.

Much Love in the Lord,

OldSkool

Does he honestly think that believers in TWI are the only ones who "pray in " the new year?  Really?  Millions (or maybe billions?) of Christians worldwide do this.

"The impact is yet to be fully realized, but I imagine the results will reach far and wide towards the deliverance of God's people and the advancement of the Word."

Our church took a hike on NY Day to a high viewpoint over the central city and the northern suburbs.  We stood as a group and prayed over the city and its people.  We prayed for peace in the city, and for all who live, work and otherwise enjoy the city, including the millions of tourists we receive each year.  We prayed for church leaders locally, nationally and worldwide, and for world leaders.  We prayed for countries in conflict.  We prayed for ways to reach out to those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ.  We prayed for ourselves, for better understanding, more wisdom, and such like, so as to know the Lord better and to know how to reach out better.

We did not pray only for "God's people" and for "the advancement of the Word" [aka TWI's version of the Word].  We prayed for people to come to the Lord, to get to know him - by whatever means, through whatever church.

Then, we went back to church, sang a few hymns of praise, prayed some more, and enjoyed holy communion.  And then lots of fellowship with each other.

A better way to start the new year, methinks.

I like the pass he took at the RnR folks...talking about the way ministries restoration and rejuvenation.

They celebrate 80 years of moving Gods Word together - oh wait except for those guys whose request he squashed and the whole group that has brothers and sisters in Christ that he marked and avoided.

But we will avoid that and any devilish talk of limiting our power by ignoring it.  Oh and noting how between our re-search of the gemmatria of the number 80 and placing a new old wineskin label on TWI - TWI-4 they too can restore and rejuvenate without the pesky part of giving up one iota of power to a voting majority.

They are restoring and rejuvenating exactly one thing

Yes I agree.  I didn’t do anything that admirable, just was involved helping family through something.

I bet John Juedes church did something similar.  This witnesses Christ not a class.  It won’t do anything towards increasing those SNS and Way mag subscriptions will it?  No $$$ for TWI.
