Well I can see by the way that you switch and walk

And I can tell by the way that you baby talk

And I know by the way that you treat your man

I wanna love you baby, it's a cryin' shame

edit: so many people have covered this, any version is acceptable.

I'm totally amazed no one has gotten this one.

It's the old Willie Dixon tune, I Just Want To Make love To You.

Here are some cool versions.

No guess. I guess I'll reveal. No A little longer.

Hint: A super artist plays this song with a groovin beat! This song had the classic style that defined his music.

At least I always loved his music because of its tempo and upbeat rock n' roll sound.

Perhaps more lines to this song will help?

You can wear a mask

and paint your face

you can call yourself

the human race

you can wear a collar

and a tie

I'm giving this one up! Crippled Inside

you can shine your shoes

and wear a suit

you can comb your hair

and look quite cute

you can hide a face

behind a smile

one thing you can't hide

is when you're crippled inside

You can wear a mask

and paint your face

you can call yourself

the human race

you can wear a collar

and a tie

one thing you can't hide

is when you're crippled inside

Sorry, I did forget about this. One more clue:

So lean upon Him gently

And don't call on Him to save

You from your social graces

And the sins you used to waive

The bloody Church of England --

in chains of history --

requests your earthly presence at

the vicarage for tea.

I'll give it to Wordwolf. The song is "My God" from the Aqualung album (1971).

For those who don't know, "Aqualung" was one of the first great concept albums -- in this case the concept is Christianity and the Church of England. I think almost all of you would enjoy it. Great music, great lyrics.

"All the people we used to know, they're an illusion to me now.

Some are mathematicians, some are carpenter's wives.

Don't know how it all got started.

I don't know what they're doing with their lives.

But me, I’m still on the road, headin’ for another joint.

We always did feel the same,

We just saw it from a different point of view"

NOW you should get it.

"I lived with them on Montague Street in a basement down the stairs.

There was music in the cafes at night and revolution in the air.

Then he started into dealing with slaves and something inside of him died.

She had to sell everything she owned and froze up inside.

And when finally the bottom fell out I became withdrawn.

The only thing I knew how to do

Was to keep on keepin’ on like a bird that flew."

"So now I’m goin’ back again,I got to get to her somehow.

All the people we used to know, they're an illusion to me now.

Some are mathematicians, some are carpenter's wives.

Don't know how it all got started.

I don't know what they're doing with their lives.

But me, I’m still on the road, headin’ for another joint.

We always did feel the same,

We just saw it from a different point of view"

"I had a job in the great north woods working as a cook for a spell.

But I never did like it all that much, and one day the ax just fell.

So I drifted down to New Orleans where I happened to be employed

workin’ for a while on a fishin’ boat right outside of Delacroix.

But all the while I was alone, the past was close behind,

I seen a lot of women, but she never escaped my mind, and I just grew"

If someone can answer before I run out of lyrics, I'd appreciate it...
