First, my apologies, I haven't investigated recent conversations on the board. I just want to talk about the Way today. Also, I never got in too deep and I'm not resentful or bitter. My ROA experiences in '87 and '88 were actually highlights in my Christian walk. Sometimes I swing by New Knoxville on my way from Michigan to the Carolinas. Last week I walked into the OSB to see if it was cool if I walked the grounds. Met some really nice, happy people. It felt like the Way of old (in my limited experience). Jerry Martinez in security gave me a guided tour. Grounds were amazing. The smells, the blossoms. I found them willing to talk about mistakes in the past. I'm thinking about going to the ROA this year. Anyone else have a sense of revitalization and resurgence? A special shout out to John S and his wife in Family Corps. Also Andrew. They exude joy and the love of God. So different from "churches".

When CD format first became popular, Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever was the very first CD I bought. He made so much great music through the years, it's somewhat of a mystery to me he never achieved the recognition he deserved. At any rate, have another go at it, Human sans Bean.

Ok, next show. This show has had a successful run, and it has a short-lived attempt at a revival some time later. At its height, it seemed like everybody in the US was talking about it, even those who weren't watching it. A summer cliffhanger where one character attempted to murder another got the entire US (I don't know how other countries responded). In fact, the US Daily News did a feature on it one week that summer, with different people giving their ideas on who was the attempted murderer. Everybody had their own guesses. The day with the correct answer? The day they interviewed detectives of the NYPD and asked their opinion.

"The preceding was recorded earlier because we were ashamed to do it now." "This show has been prerecorded to give the cast a chance to get away." "Do you know there's a small hotel in downtown Burbank?" "No, but if you hum a few bars, I can fake it."

Meaning it's George's turn.

I'd probably like it, but I'd never heard of it or its album. It may have charted, but I never heard it.

Very funny, Waysider. No Kool-Aid here. Lots of red wine, though.

"Swingin" from TP&TH Sorry about that. I suppose music is subjective to individual tastes. What I might like or listen to does not mean that everyone else would like or listen to the same thing. So anyway, let's see, waysider did know who this artist was so, I'm inclined to give him this one. If you want it waysider take it, or if not I'll get something up soon.

The Way Makes Themselves Look Good on the Internet
Joe Maslow replied to Stayed Too Long's topic in About The Way
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I do not know if it's the same "degree/level of evilness" of VPW. However, they know about his plagiarism and they still promote him as their "father in the Word". -

The Way Makes Themselves Look Good on the Internet

Vern still has his bronze “Teacher” statue on his desk helping him with how to be a great minister. His first act was marking and avoiding Moynihan, thus preserving the monarchy approach to leading over the democracy approach offered. Yes it’s still same evil with new names and face. Peace out. -
Just visiting one more time to say I’m modifying my original premise. Yes Christian posters are tolerated here. But after completely dishonest exchange with RAF who you can see his vomit all over this post including evaluating other posters like he has any real authority at all, I will just state I will never participate again on this site as long as RAF is a mod. The only other mod is his buddy who protects him. RAF also sent a personal F off message complete with how he feels privately and I’m not permitted to post it here so his true colors remain hidden. Sorry to all still in the Way cult sorry to those who could still be helped sorry to all other posters. I am way past my dealings with cults to accept an unlevel playing field for discussion so I’m leaving. Yes RAF chased off more than one person from this site which should objectively end his mod run but it doesn’t. so add 1 to your body count while you take your Pulitzer and shove it up ur where sun doesn’t shine.

I guess its me. Random trivia questions. I'm leaving 5 that shouldn't be too tough, but I'd like whoever takes the round to answer 4 correctly. At what age did Abraham Lincoln die? Which artist sang the theme song to the TV show Monk? Who is the song by Crosby, Stills, & Nash "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" written about? In which year did the alternative rock band ~The Killers~ form? Which sitting U.S. president was the earliest to be photographed? There is no evidence because the photograph is lost to history. But the evidence of the first sitting president will be counted as correct also.
