  1. After all this detail from you, I'm not convinced you understand what victor was saying in his little fiction about the red drapes. Those scriptures you cite are not about balancing nor paralleling needs and wants. They just aren't, even if you beleeeve they are. Balanced is not an accurate, precise, nor effectual synonym for parallel, especially in this context. We all know what parallel means -- side by side, at the same time, analogous, equivalent, aligned... In the Fire Engine Red Drapes (FERD) story, that broad needed an apartment and wanted red drapes for the apartment that she needed. Her want was at the same time and corresponding to her need. Drapes go hand in hand, side by side with modern dwellings with windows She didn't need an apartment and want a younger, handsome lover. Lovers and apartments don't match, they aren't aligned, because anyone can get their kicks in a car or in an alley or in a minister's office. That need and want aren't parallel. But drapes and apartments with windows line up side by side. They correspond naturally. They line up. They fit. Like a hand in a... The lesson is make sure your arbitrary, carnal wants are aligned (parallel) with your needs -- there's a better chance of getting what you want that way. In FERDS no one asked for anything in accordance with God's Will.

  2. Of course, the videos of Professor Irwin Corey were facetious. But THIS is NOT. That Mike self-aggrandizes counters any and all credibility he might think he has.

  3. Right. Either Jesus said this or the author of John put those words in Jesus's mouth to advance his own agenda/theology/narrative. The lesson I take is clearly not the one the author of John intended, the lesson religious leaders feel justified to teach. Like I said, the author is positioning himself against Thomas, so he tells this story and puts those words in Jesus's mouth to bolster his position. The words belief/believing/believe do not occur in the Gospel of Thomas. An observation I find interesting. Yeah, John is obviously different from the synoptics. And only John has Jesus giving very long speeches. It seems unlikely to me, especially given the dating of John, that very long dialogues and soliloquies would have been recorded accurately, or recorded at all. If any sayings of Jesus were preserved by oral tradition, and then written down, the shorter sayings would be the most likely to endure, it seems to me. None of this is to say that I don't find value in John's Gospel. And that value is not dependent on its historicity. Do I find all of what is written in the Gospels to be credible? No. For me the value of Mythos transcends historical credibility.

  4. Your hunch is not parallel with the textual evidence. He was a day laborer like his “earthly” father.

  5. Alright, since you insist on addressing me as if Im an ignorant jacka$$ who lacks the very basic comprehension to understand wierwille's remedial and elementary presentations. Parallel and balanced are not even remotely the same concept. But you are accusing me of assigning meaning to other words, or maybe its your memory loss or lack of desire, but I do want to fix this basic misunderstanding you have that parallel and balanced are synanomous. Let me explain there, boy wonder. Parallel is equilateral, or one could say everywhere equally distanced. The concept has nothing to do with the items being balanced. You could have a car traveling equally distanced to a cat and the two items mentioned would be parallel but not balanced. Parallel is not balanced. Balamced is speaking of a harmonious proportion between items and those items may or may not be equally distanced. Balance implies an equality, a harmonious state. Can you see the difference, there mr wizard? If you are still in the dark then please use the following link to help clear up what you have appearantly forgotten, or not paid attention to, or whatever have you...maybe you were running an atom smasher that day or something.... https://www.merriam-webster.com/ So, if wierwille said and taught that to receive anything form God your needs and wants must be parallel then needs and want must be equally distanced. I could need a can of sardines and want an elephant and God would have to provide them as long as they are equally distanced in their course. If wierwille meant balanced and used parallel then he is a complete idiot that lacked basic dexterity and comprhension to pick up an effn dictionary and use it. And in the world of little g god breathed pflap that is a glaring error and according to wierwille, if it fails on one point it fails on all points. Epic fail...epic fail. Make it make sense there mikey.

  7. I am neither tired nor defeated, and I've handled every one of your challenges. But there are dozens, hundreds of questions, challenges of mine you've left unanswered. Just in these recent pages alone, Waysider has asked and challenged you repeatedly on one point. No answer. I have never called you a liar. Delusional, yes. In denial, yes. Liar, no. I never accused you of being a "professional" dancer, comedian or coder. At least, not that I recall. If I did, I didn't mean it. I'm not jealous at all. And I don't know any tricks. I know nothing of your experience. Nor do I care.

  8. "Another promise in the Epistle of I John. Way in the back of your Bible. I John, the Epistle of I John, first-second--third John. I John 5:14: And this is the confidence [this is the confidence] that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, [if we ask any thing according to his will] he heareth us: Isn't that wonderful? If we have our need and our want parallel we ask anything according to His will; how can it be His Will if we don't know His Word? His Word is His Will that gets our need and our want parallel. If we know His Word we can parallel it off. And once we get our need and want parallel, whatsoever we ask, we get." -- victor paul wierwille I will try to handle this word salad line by line: That is wonderful. Where in 1 John 5:4 does it say anything about parallel needs and wants? If we don't know His Word it can't be His Will? God's Will is dependent on what we know? So, it is God's Word that is his Will that does the paralleling of our needs and wants? If WE know His Word WE can parallel it off? I thought His Word is His Will does the paralleling? Conlusion: Uh-oh parallel to Huh?

  9. wow wee wow you STILL believe that horse-$hit ?!?! Mike, you've got some big issues. If wierwille was God's spokesman at the time - and I mean if that was undeniably confirmed by Jesus Christ coming back to earth - just for a few minutes to announce "Mike speaks the truth, wierwille was God's spokesman at the time." then I would absolutely renounce Christianity !!!! And go on the attack of Christianity big time - I will pick up the persecution of the church where Saul of Tarsas left off just before he was converted on the road to Damascus. I swear on my parents' grave!!!!!! why?!?!?! because Jesus Christ coming down to earth - where I see and hear and feel His awesome presence with my own rinky dink sinful body - and He fries my brain cells with the ultimate mind-fvck that the God whom I thought I served for some 69 years of my life is a hypocritical god. He demands I should not commit adultery, that I should not commit murder, that I should not steal or lie....Yet He uses wierwille the greatest hypocrite and wolf in sheep's clothing in all of TWI history to enforce the dpuble standard...naw homey don't play that.

  10. In Power For Abundant Living (PFAL), Wierwille said he saw unbelievers manifesting more abundance than the believers. Was he talking about spiritual abundance? If so, how was that possible?

  11. Yah, sure, we see this in the ministry. Saint Vic et al, who receive so much, gave what? So then why didn't Saint Vic et al give of all that cash? Nobody cares. Well, once Saint Vic saw all that money, greed took over.

  13. 141. False name - Power for Abundant Living So you would expect the vast majority of the followers to be middle class mostly. They would be living with power and abundance. Yet they are not middle class as that is next to impossible without home ownership. Debt for starting businesses and advanced education are given elements in most normal peoples pursuit of power for abundant living. They are unavailable to most of the masses in the Way unless they are quiet disobeying. Except those with inherited money they live more like the false name. And the Pharisee leaders who have relatives carry their mortgage notes to be in compliance. And the minimum wage earners at HQ who qualify for Pell grants for kids earning college degrees from our taxes. The vast majority of the Way followers have little power in a subservient organization and have no abundance after the mandated beyond the tithe “abundant sharing” and being unable to borrow money for home ownership, advanced education, starting a business, or medical or other emergencies.
