  1. I think those doing the rejecting also feel the rejection based on projection of ones perception to which it is a reflection of selection of intrusive rejection. Any Questions? :D-->

    Question...

WoW Dot, Thanks for being candid and honest. Coffee at my place anytime. :D-->
  3. Exie, I'm late on this tread too. Why does your heart break? I appricate your honesty about your beliefs. I'm not threatened either way by what you say. And I'm not the "spiritual codependent" out to rescue you or folks from their doubts. Doubting is good. How eles are you gonna find out what resinates to you. Keep speaking your truth, it's respected here with me. I hope this is in the context of why this tread was started.
  4. Pauls thorn in his side was...a gas bubble. :D-->
  5. Reminds me again of Al Capone. To the little man on the street he was worshiped for his giving deeds but was neck deep in criminal activity. Al never veiwed himself as a criminal but as a buisness man that did good. WOW, putting the brothers together...I wonder if their manipulation was a genetic thing? Excathedra, I'm sorry this happened to you. Peices me off that both the brothers took advantage of you and lived like it was a right. D@m them both.
  6. When I first SIT it sounded like Chinese. Scared the living baagggeebbbeees out of me. I asked God to change it or I changed it. Well now it is sorta French sounding. I don't SIT anymore. I like communicating with my understanding much better.

    Question...

Dot, Thanks again for putting words to concepts. You do it well. The 2 ministries under one roof speaks volumes. Until I went into the corpes I experianced and lived the B.J Lenords interpretaion of the BiBle. Being at H.Q, I experianced V.P and his gangs interpetation. Some of V.Ps influence would find its way, on occasion, to my reality as a WOW or TC but...THANK GOD it was minimal and harmless. It was being under the same roof so to speak(H.Qs) that created huge painful problems. Dot keep speaking your truth it makes a HE11 of a lot of sence. :D-->
  8. Refiner, You make an excellent point. Who would ever want to worship a God like that. And if his son was anythihg like the father...noway. I'v had to persue my understanding of God and JC in different contexes other then the Bible. And to date I am in love with both. So for me the Bible is not the only reference point for truth. I do not view Jesus Christ or God like most Christians do.

    Question...

Dot Matrix, Thanks for your letter and posting that Post. I think that whole thread and many others should be posted every year for all of the newbies to see that hook up with GS. It is a wealth of insite and is well written. I have the uttmost respect for your courage and perseverance to make others informed of VPs antics. Thank You . TWI was my 3rd. and last cult. I have a bumper sticker on my car that reads," God is to big for any one religion". Also..."Namaste" The Aboriginies are taught at a young age that they are spirit beings inhabiting human bodies. That there whole existance is on a spiritual plane rather in the phisical. In my quest for truth, I find that the awarness of a spiritual presence, "God" is more confirmed from within than from without. TWI taught that to be in the will of God you have to adhere to a the Bible. "The word of God is the will of God". Little has been taught on, it is not in the doing but in the being. Being intune with your spiritual core self which is very sensitive to God. Now I say this to make a point. You know what spiritually resinates and what doesn't. Unfortunatly we come to spirituality with a lot of baggage. It makes it very difficult to identify that "small still voice". It's even more difficult to idenify your spiritual core self, if you are constintly being accountable to an interpetation of a book that might be unhealthy. And that book is outside of yourself. Like the Aborigines I belive we have been connected to "GOD" for more years than we know. We just never were taught about our connectedness. So rater then looking outside of youself for "God realities" it might be an adventure to look within for what you really KNOW to be true. Ask the Creator to validate you from within. See what happens. I had many "GOD" realities while I was in TWI. But thank goodness it did not end there. TWI stifled my core self which limited my awareness of God in my life. "God is not limited to any one religion" Thank goodness! :D-->
  10. Zixar, Thanks for the functioning insite. Having to clean the cottages from time to time where I work, I often have gotten angry at the smell and dribbles that were everwhere. The young males would intentionally urinate in closets or hampers but I never could understand the bathrm. Now I understand. Galen, do you have any other joyous secrets that seem to plague the male species that you would like to share with the GS female populace? Please tell us more... :D--> although I have not responded humorously, my mind is just reeling with one liners. Thanks for the endorphines.
  11. When I was stationed at Ft. Pickett, I lived in a small farming community of Blackstone Va. One day I walked in a convient store to buy some ice when this older farmer asked if I was wearing boxers? (I had on the type of boxers that made you look like your carrying a load in your pants...more room in the seat) I said yes! He yelled, "noting is sacred anymore" and grumbled. I for one do not wear a thong. My younger peers do and to have that show while putting a child in a hold is comical. Especially when the adolesent boys see it and you become the BUTT of a joke.
  12. Al Capone believed he was a civil servent. He provided jobs and gave money to the poor and to great causes. Did he ever see himself as a criminal? NO! Did he ever admit his criminal behavior was wrong? NO! When you have that much power who do you admit to? If you are at the top, it all roles down hill from there. Much like Al, TWI and those that lead it are spell bound by there own precieved goodness and are unable to see the dark side.
  13. I was a cult memember waiting to happen. Lovebombing and what I hoped were answers to a confused life. That is what hooked me. At the time the answers made since. I was witnessed to in a womens botique. I was so desperate for sanity I would have paid thousands for PFAL. Well, I guess in the long run I did.
  14. Galen, I was thinking about your delima but not to seriously when a thought came to mind. When I worked at an eating disorder facility some girls were given donuts (inflatable tubes) to sit on because they were so thin an bone on hard wood hurts. Possibly this could assist in dangle challanged situation.
  15. Ahhh Gunnison. :D--> :(--> :)--> While in rez there, I christened the toilet with a mix of Wiskey and Scotch, sled on the roof with a snow shovel after being told not to, went into town to drink dark beer through a straw, helped remove tember off of a mountain, learned to chew tobacco (Levi Garret rough cut and a miniture of blackberry brandy mixed and set for 3 days), saw more stars in my whole life on Bless patrol, caught slow flying flies by hand and shook them senceless then let them go, ate deer tenderloins, tried bear meat, hiked to Signal Peak and loved looking at a crystal cut glass window with the words" The Living word". Gunnison will always be special to me because that is where I got to really know and understand Jesus Christ inspite of TWI.
  16. "Eternal vagina fix" I have a therapist friend that worked at a sex addiction treatment center and I'm gonna ask for her take on this peice of work. I'll get back with her reply. LCM... "What female hurt you so bad that you would even come up with this SH@T? My god is that the stuff you would tell your own daughter?"
  17. Dearest Smurfett, There are a myriad of things that need to be adressed first. You posted that you are used to verbal abuse, guilt and a slave mentality. Before you can begin to look for what you do want, you have to recognize what you don't want. If your behavior and thought processes are still tangled in the above characteristics you will draw to yourself men who will abuse you and you will fall back into the patterns of guilt and enslavement. Honey, you need to take care of you first. Once your core self gets healed up from your experiances, then you will be a better judge of what you do want . Weither it is TWI or someone who believes deeply in the Bible, it is up to you to set boundries and limits as to how you want to be treated. You have already experianced via the Bible, personal mistreatment. It's not about the Bible, it's about the individual that carries it. So be smart and heal. In all relationships respect is paramount. If the expectation from the one you are dating is for you to change, in any way, then that individual does not embrace...who you really are. Time to say goodby. It is a mutual space giving and respect. And if your doing all the work in a relationship...say goodby again. This stuff is fundemental and you don't need the Bible to give you permission to take care of yourself. That was a given the day you were born.
  18. Galen, Not to sound ignorant but, would it be smart to hold the one while using the other? I did not know that this would be an issue for some folks.
  19. I'll have a double dip of lard on a sugar cone, please! Does sprinkles come with that? :D-->
  20. I haven't read the said thread on Eve and lesbianism. I don't want to put that trash in my head. Not even for research purposes. Just the knowledge that it came from LCM is a trigger. Again a very sick man with to much power and no spiritual accountability "speaking the truth." Makes me want to hit someone.(I wont) LCM appears to be a sex addict and it seems that tranference of a deep seated problem played out through the Bible. For him I am sad and for others that swallowed this stuff.
  21. Ala, "I don"t know about tomarrow", thanks for the memory. sigh! :)-->
  22. To put Ellan DeGenerus to play Donna/Rosie is an insult to Ellan. I happen to like her comedic style. I don't see any humor in either one of these ladied.
  23. Goey, Well I guess the "Psycobabble" that you refer to ,you didn't need. Again my sponcer says "take what you need and leave the rest." For those that do need it and are continually sober, Godbless them all. What ever it takes.
  24. AMAN! Again, I SAY...AMEN! :D-->
  25. Goey, I precieve you have had some negitive experiances with AAover the years. I'm sorry for that. My experiance has been quiet the opposite. The group I attend is so heartfilled with accetptance and support you walk out of a meeting, you know you are not alone and something was added to your life. I recognize that not all folks that are sober and attent AA...are amotionally healthy. My sponcer said once that taking inventory of others is not our buisness if you're fault finding BUT you better take good inventory if you want to establish healty relations. Don't get to tangled up with folks who don't want change.. Those you can spot a mile away because they keep recreating their own chaos. Good advice. I also know that there are folks that live the big book like it was their Bible. Some exhibit good character while others are control freaks. All in all in every organization you will have folks who are not perfect and all those imperfections spill out at meetings. I find that if you stay on task with the 12 traditions and have strong adherance to not go beyound the 12 step program (into the "psyco stuff") then you have a meeting worth attending. I attend such a meeting. If it had not been for AA I would not be posting here at this site. It allowed me the time and support I needed to work through my feelings about "my higher power" without critisim and I grew in courage to take the next step. That next step is part of my journey with GS. So having said all that "Easy does it". :)-->
