  1. One thing I can say.. there are times I feel like I'd rather not be a man.. no.. not what some may think. These sycophants, standing behind a pulpit, who enabled this kind of practice.. and those who followed them, and bullied GOD'S women in this manner.. these guys are just so much bad company..
  2. Is it? I believe they made a different distinction, a distinction between abortion being morally reprehensible, or merely as harmless as clipping one's nails. A fetus is hardly a newly sprouted corn stalk, or wheat.. or some kind of weed, that should be merely swept aside as some kind of inconvenience.. That is what the term "growth life" implies, does it not? From many men's perspective, it can be such a "little" thing.. but from the woman's, it's the whole world.
  3. "he" paid? Paid? Hmm. I guess it's your abundant sharing at work..
  4. I thought that was Lorraina "Bobbed It"
  5. If it makes any difference, I'm painting myself with the same brush here.. :)
  6. I think Capone and these Mogster types knew a little psychology. It is quite easy to get someone to agree, providing they are starving, and you have a few crumbs.
  7. "loy's a hundred and fifty man(?) march.." I don't know quite how I missed this one.
  8. Yep.. and after a while, the soup and doughnuts were not exactly "free" either..
  9. he could have claimed tax-exempt status. Suda, don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing bricks at you .. I'm only talking in generalities. :)
  10. The soup and doughnuts offered to the poor were financed by prostitution, drugs, murder, and who knows how many other kinds of rackets.. Why is it.. people can look at the man, in any OTHER arena of life except for religion, and despite the personna, say, "geeze, what an evil, dispicible SOB.." and in regard to the "good works".. the motive for doing so, appears as clear as water.. maybe Capone wasn't as smart as he looked.. he should have founded a cult instead..
  11. Yep.. "God" worked through Capone too.. To function in society, a really really really bad man needs friends, and a LOT of them.. as smart as Capone was, he couldn't exactly watch his own back. He had to rely on stooges dumb enough to think he was actually a good guy.
  12. I've heard the "lady" called Miss Michigan..
  13. Yep.. and some present "leadership" including good ole rosie stood with him, with full knowledge of his carrying ons.. if there were no legal ramifications, excepting rosie and the donster, they'd probably accept him back with open arms.
  14. Last limb coordinator agreed. He said, "we are not A cult, we are THE cult" no joke..

  16. maybe the word I was looking for was reputation. Like some of old business types in plaid suits in the sixties, sipping their martinis, ocassionally taking a hit from a joint.. real "cool" ya know.. real "hip".. the "man" couldn't as much as say that sex outside of marriage was biblically speaking, WRONG..
  17. Yeah.. besides.. the "old man" didn't exactly want to appear to be a fuddy duddy, did he?
  18. I dunno.. I guy who messes with enough other men's wives might.. I wonder how "secure" loy feels without a gun-toting thug accompanying him..
  19. hmm. You know, I knew a "believer" who had a guilt free opinion about growing pot. The person claimed the effects of the drug are not as bad as the effects of media propaganda which people exposed themselves to on televsion sets which I happened to repair..
  20. No no no. It's "sneaky, wewy vewy sneaky.." as in, "be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting cwasses to pwagewize.." edited for spellwing..
  21. Personally.. face to face , about all I can muster up for a lot of these sycophants is just to be polite.. "WE'VE got the greatest handle on such and such.. have you had such and such class.. have you read HIS book on prophecy..." "yeah yeah.. *smile*" maybe that's giving them too much "honor" as it is.. last class I was ever involved with, I felt like I was in a den of lions..
  22. I never heard this, but it doesn't suprise me.
  23. *knock, knock, knock..* *who's there?* *candy gram..*
  24. Actually, wow was not so bad.. I did get some of the independence I really needed. I should have just continued running after the year ended. Could have gotten about the same with a stint in the National Guard though.. maybe more benefits..
  25. Hmm.. the only thing I've gotten out of all this is, if vic had a holy life, it was the greatest secret in the world today..
