  1. Hey, you in the back row.. don't complain about the talent here.. leave an unattended squirrel in charge, what can you expect?
  2. hmmm. Well.. how about.. maybe he's on the Pakistan Afghanistan border, patiently waiting for western civilization to crumble.. hmmm. Well, maybe.. just maybe he's in eastern Europe, busy trying to build a wall.. go back to the eighties, sitting around a campfire in northern Ohio, and the victors still could lash out a tune.. *ahem*, *cough, cough..* *I'm building a wall* *across the divide..* *I'll charge first class toll...* *for a second-rate ride, do do do do..*
  3. Now I'm not speaking disparagingly of the great Country of France.. but maybe somebody in the u.s. got smart enough to just scrape enough to buy the would-be mogster a ticket.. one way. sheesh.. you're so "lucky" Bumpy..
  4. So where's chris gear.. maybe he's just setting back, eating pickled pig's feet, drinking schnaps, and planning the overthrow of the world..
  5. Oh yeah.. that's a REAL sticky problem for a writer.. You have to give credit to the source you quote, and on top of that, you have to give credit to source of the source you quote from.. if there indeed is one. While some may lift pfal with impunity, I would suppose that the owners of the original material could pursue some kind of legal remedy from these infringers.. I could see them in front of a judge.. "it wasn't MINE... I was just holding it, for a friend.."
  6. I think it is the logic of a defense attorney. I know there are some good in the legal industry.. but if I had to make a living getting REAL criminals off the hook, and was successful at it, I don't think I could live with myself..
  7. Why is it that this "miraculous" existence seems only to work for the top dog in the cult, or the very few on top? They make it sound like promises of "liberty".. the "good life", little or no effort required. Then comes the yoke. "if you'd just GIVE enough. Can't outgive God.."
  8. What a miserable existence.. these guys think somehow they've inherited vic's "legacy", or power.. he's a pale imitation.. no matter how much like the "master" he smells..
  9. I tend to agree with this. He could turn on the light.. I think that is why some people have a hard time connecting with reality here.. they were dazzled by it.. "but look at all the GOOD he did.." yeah, he paid out, but it was in terms of stolen goods. Maybe some "entity" did make some agreement with him back in 1942.. if so, I kinda doubt it was God..
  10. Some mystics talk about the death of self, of fleshly individuality. I don't know if that is entirely possible.. I think the most "successful" (for lack of better words), at least spiritually, chose to wear their skin, or individuality, but not to allow it to wear them..
  11. shoulda read a little closer.. looks like you beat me to it.. but yes, fifty eight years old??? what I have somewhat of a hard time understanding.. how did he convince twenty some year olds to conceal and cover up this kind of activity? Then again.. I've met a couple of them. Not too much brain to wash to begin with..
  12. It really, really has to be bad, when one can smell oneself..
  13. on top of that.. if I don't take a shower twice a day, especially in the summer my odor resembles that of a goat..
  14. hmm. I'm fifty.. ya know, at that stage in life a person is old enough to be a grandparent. I don't feel that old.. but a person going into that age category is more than a mother/father figure, you're starting to look more like a grandmother/grandfather figure. Is it NORMAL for a 50 something year old man to want to have sex with a 18 year old girl (or younger), let alone drug said individual? Not me. And yes, I have been offered.. and "nobody" would ever have known.. I like playing the nutso squirrel.. but there are those who depend on my judgement.. I just couldn't betray that kind of trust, even as minimal as some may regard it. no thanks.. so friggin gross. a fifty some old guy? We have this hair that starts growing out of our ears, our noses.. I should know
  15. I dunno George, but if you ask questions like that they may give you the boobie prize.. as far as the survey goes.. can I give it a blanket "I dunno"? I honestly think "truth" is about as fragmented as our collective consciousness.. :)
  16. Like the plague, I don't think her grip on the group will ever be entirely eradicated..
  17. I guess we just found out what some people meant when they said that people have no idea of what "we are capable of".. Look what they did in world war two.. If they aren't the same dark entities, they sure can do a pretty good imitation..
  18. So.. not laying blame on any one individual, you are saying that you had a good reason, despite being reduced to what might be described as a near psychotic episode, which you did recover from, brought on by involvement in a "christian" organization. add the fact that the whole family was involved.. I wonder.. what did the rest of the family think? Were they concerned? Have questions? I know I would have. If my kid came home, holed up in a room, and wouldn't talk for days, I'd have a few concerns..
  19. more like tangerines and oranges. In both cases, people were traumatized. Only one worse than the other. So I re-issue the question: why did YOU stay?
  20. Probably the same reason you stayed for YEARS, after being reduced to a pile of sobbing rubble who couldn't leave your room for days.. I always wanted to ask.. why DID you stay?
  21. I think a valid experiment is pretty much impossible.. giving several groups a controlled substance.. tracking them for YEARS.. the current OPINION of the substance would render the experiment unethical, to begin with.. it would be like having people in several groups ingest a few milligrams of benzene every day, and tracking the group to see how the group's statistics of occurence of cancer varied from a control group. Correlational studies are quick, cheap.. but proof of correlation does not prove causation. Somebody did one once on seatbelt usage. After the new law, emergency rooms showed a significant higher incidence of people being treated for accident injuries. But one could not reasonably argue that wearing seatbelts caused accidents.
  22. Perhaps one needs such a tool, lest looking directly into the light, one really gets burned.. it has been known to happen.. :)
  23. Yeah, can't be perfect.. I wasn't close enough to really experience that.. thought I'd leave that description to be given by someone more qualified than me.. :)
  24. If he needs the money that bad.. I know a few Eskimos that could use some ice..
