  1. That was the strategy of the BOD at twi, was it not? Sad thing for CES, you are stuck with em. Can't vote them out.. at least three on top. Those who brought you "unique" mixture of personal prophecy and momentus are still calling the shots. If you can't fire incompetence, about the only remedy you'd have would be to walk away, and find another gig..
  2. I don't think I have any open sores left. I may have some scars. Heck, I'll even show them and swap stories.. "And I got THIS one tangling with a certain saber-toothed region coordinator.."
  3. Perhaps for a staunch mog lover. Every "vile" accusation of their beloved leader just is too much, too much pain. Opens just another unhealed, painful wound, full of pus and poison. Some will follow him all the way down a hole under the fountain. In clear light of glaring plagiarim, abuse, rape and worse, defend him to the death- "well, sumthin good came out of it, didn't it?" I'll modify my first post. I think SOME people worshipped vic, the ground he walked on, worship his works like they are God himself, and even worship the ground he's buried in. All of this, even over twenty years after his death.

Yeah. Around here, they are just so busy busy busy in the fall. There is a walnut tree about half a block away, and by the time they are done, they probably can't remember where even half of the nuts are they've buried. But we have lots of new little walnut trees coming up. Shouldn't call them squirrels anymore, these guys are brilliant. I think they got a degree in Arboreal Engineering around here somewhere..
  5. Well, I wouldn't say worshipped, exactly. But with parades in his honor, titles lke da mog, "doctor", adherence to his "research" like it was the hand of God itself, and such, I think it was a close second to worship. Maybe you should publish a book. "vp is NOT God". It would start no small furor in some circles..

Naw, those are red eyes. He's just plain evil..
  7. The thought that God was not in der vey AT ALL, from the beginning, sets better with me than to think a glass eyed adulterer, plagiarizer and rapist was handed the secrets of the universe. Even IF it happened- that the lord said, if you teach it... I'll do so and so, vic didn't live up to the bargain. Instead of teaching, vic went about stealing and making off with every woman who wasn't bolted to the floor.. I would say he abrogated the "agreement" before taking step one. All of this sex crazed junk started way back in his denominational days. Or before. Somebody challenged me once, "what would you do if you found everything you believed to be WRONG?" If you can't even consider that question, what's the point of trying to learn..

    Evil cousin

    From the album: Ham

    One of my evil cousins
  10. Now, now, Raf. One of those on that list just has to be true. I find this one a little more believable:
  11. "You, suh, have impugned, mah honah. Retract your fowl accusations" "I retract not. Thou art a worthless slob and sluggard.." "Ah demand satisfaction, suh." "Choose your weapons suh, and name your terms." "Sundials, at twenty paces.."
  12. "Packing a Sundial"

    hehehheheheh..

  13. In der vey living in lust, I remember old "doc" telling Elena about the early years, how he burned the "junk", went to the verd, and shared with Dr. Higgins. She read Bullinger. "Wow, you teach like he wrote". vics answer was of not much substance than "aww, tweren't nuthin.." He claimed to have independantly come up with the same material before Higgins shared Bullinger with him. Until Bullinger books starting making the rounds.
  14. tick, hmm. Bacteria in a tick's colon that's on bubba's greasy rear that's, hmmm.
  15. Should have been written on his tombstone, "I wish I was the plagiarizer that I knew to be" (concealed my sources better)
  16. Here's one thread. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/index.ph...p;hl=plagiarism Some people are still so brainwashed and awestruck by vic's personna that they still can't admit vic plagiarized, when presented whole sections of other people's material he bulk copied. vic was guilty of plagiarism, even by the standards of the 1930's and 1940's, when he was in school. The man had a valid master's degree.. you'd think that he would have known better.
  17. For some perhaps. I don't paint all psychologists or therapists as evil though.. I think there is a pretty broad spectrum of people with different motivations. You have some who care, some who are in it for the money, some who are highly qualified and professional, and some who don't give a damn. The most damaging and addictive appear to be the quasi-psychological weekend "drive through" type of fixits that can cause problems far worse than they are trying to "fix". Kinda like twi. Every year, have to leave family and friends on a national holiday, and get the same verbal pummeling, year after year.. with the same bore me to tears drivel, and it is demanded, not an option. I think the "patients" need to pick up a few clubs and work over the "docs"
  18. Interesting comment here. Why does this sound like twi? Striking similarity here.
  19. I kinda thought loy was going to come back as a salamander or something..
  20. Eyesopen, it must be my high squeaky voice..
  21. I dunno. I took this statement like, they have fewer marbles in their corner..
  22. And where are they all now, twenty three years later? I imagine some would not feel comfortable even admitting they took the class. far fewer than one out of ten I worked with ended up actually taking the class. I would venture to say that the vast majority came, saw, and refused to follow vic over a cliff like the rest of us lemmings, at least lemmings at the time. The "real deal" were the people that actually built up that heap of an organization. Not vic. I actually had a few people independently tell me in essence the same thing. "well, we think you are nice, but the rest of the bunch, too pushy. I can't stand them. They are worse than used car salesmen.."
  23. I think the instructions they gave their followers amounted as much as.. "Find a nice clean place to sit on the floor. carefully remove all sharp, potentially hazardous items from your pockets. firmly pull yourself tightly into a ball, and kiss your *** goodbye"
