  1. Yep, we were in it together, were we not..
  2. I think I met him. relative of an upper up in der vey I think.. couldn't stomach "leadership" even back in the good old days.. only took a short two years after this living in love lifestyle stuff..
  3. Ah, what a "bargain". NOW tell me what that diploma is worth.. Ten to fifteen YEARS? I should have run away when I heard these kinds of claims.. Now if they said, "we heap ten to fifteen years of ABUSE into two short years (besides interim years)" it probably would be a little closer to the truth.
  4. One thing I learned in the last few years, is how to look at it from the other guy's point of view. Sometimes its pretty valid. They might say, "listening to YOU, makes me feel like the four gospels were never written". True at one time. :)-->
  5. Yeah.. "christendumb". I think that phrase kinda pushes a few buttons around here, like a red flag to a bull. But no, I'm not charging.. I only regard it as "vey speak". A loyism, written in der book of der loy.. "Kristendumb: those that is not US" loy is not a man to be emulated or admired. Personally, I wouldn't even want to sound like him.. Oh well.
  6. Jim, I fixed it. You may assign these under "miscellaneous" (1%) :)-->
  7. Yep. Now the poor sap is missing God everywhere and looking for him anywhere. :)-->
  8. I wouldn't WANT to, either. :P-->
  9. But it makes sense, in an odd sort of way. Perhaps Howard sought a personal favor from vic, in order to give Emogene something else to keep "busy" with, besides Howard. Kind of like a "hobby".
  10. Personalentertainr, just curious.. how long have you been out?
  11. Or selling indulgences, for that matter..
  12. Compromise, no. Put up with.. perhaps. A cakewalk compared with the crap I put up with in der way.. I think a lot of us just re-evaluated what we were taught and came to a different conclusion. Well, despite some of the peace treaties, I haven't seen local protestant churches celebrating mass, installing priests, and purchasing "holy relics".. :)-->
  13. Unbelievable, almost. "come ere, little kiddies, we'll show you how to be REAL christians.." All from a not-so real Navy Seal.. Ptooie.
  14. Mo, too bad they didn't try that in der vey.. Amazing.. they DID throw people out because of idle gossip..
  15. Catcup, that kind of teaching slowly made its way down to the local level- one little compromise, one little sacrifice after another. Seeing how much havoc it caused for people who had some kind of connection with the outside world, I couldn't imagine what it was like behind closed doors.
  16. Yep. That's kinda what I meant about "welfare". Vey welfare. Before any take offense.. No bad aspersions to anyone who finds themselves forced to live on public assistance.
  17. Number THrEe THousand. Paw, havE mercy on me.. Maybe I ougta celebrate wiTH a brEw. Or several. Enough of em, and even I might start to believe Gore won THE election.
  18. Or it coulda been the 104 degree heat.. I remember when they used to pack people into that thing like sardines..
  19. Sounds like so much fun. Darn, wish I could be there..
  20. I enjoy Exie's posts as well, I hope she's OK, and comes back soon. Love you, Exie..
  21. "Awaiting the Return".. kind of gives me the "willies" too. But to me it seems to be more ILLOGICAL vey speak. To be waiting, or "awaiting", the said unconscious person would have to be conscious, no?
  22. Mo, just wondering. What does that leave the ordinary Alaskan to DO?
