  1. ... Mike and Nancy Beatnik and Allison Fern all went in 9th corpse later ... Sue, Anne, Sara and I forget the other girls name ... pretty sure it wasn't Darlene ... :)
  2. I was in Pine Bluff as WOW 76-76. There were 12 wowsers. I didn't know any corps went there the next year. Place always stunk from the paper mill. Ron something was a puffle grad that hung in there at least the next year I think. I'm thinkin Joy somethin went wow from there ... can't remember any other grads ...
  3. YES ... take it away .... paleeease
  4. Man ... this is harder than I thought it would be ... It is food, I guess you got that hint ... the food is being picked up by OT Bible characters ... It is an Italian saying the name of the movie ...
  5. OK, if you look at the group of people in the second picture, that could replace the clue for the first picture.
  6. I'm sure drambuie was on the list in BOLD print. alcohol and sex ... 2 of VP's addictions I guess ... and cream, kahlua and vodka, not stirred, for dorothy (close to that anyways). What is that? A white russian? ... with coke it's a colorado bulldog I think excie, if your house gets cavities, God won't be able to love you ... keep brushing LOL
  7. well, not sure how twi got renewed mind into the agape definition, but sometimes it seems there is too much effort to prove twi was wrong on everything .... As hard as they may have tried to be all wrong, they may have been OK on a few things ... I'm still interested in the Christian philosophy, so to speak. It seems the "being transformed by the renewing of the mind" was something the Christian was supposed to do ... it wasn't about salvation. Paul was telling Christians to change their thinking, he wasn't telling them it was OK to have sex outside your marriage, because God has renewed you regardless of your actions. Or something like that ... Disciples ... discipline .. you know ... that kind of thing ... I don't even want to think about the greek or whatever ... to me the valuable point is that I am in charge of my thinking. Whether you think the Bible is an absolute standard or you feel computer programming is the way to the top ... it takes the individual to renew their mind to the Bible or the laws of computing ... But I will try to love you uncondtionally regardless of how much you mess up my computer programs ... although I have had absolute hate of the devil toward some software (just briefly born of the wrong seed LOL) ... I like the sports analogy too ... but I just play for fun ... I guess there could be a big game where there is a lot of pressure, but it is better just to play for fun most of the time ...
  8. Thanks for the clarification TLB, ... I'll try catch up :) I figured the hosts were more Way characters ... back to our regularly scheduled hilarity ...
  9. I kinda like the concept of the "taking responsibility for your own actions" side of "renewing your mind". Doesn't seem like something you can just make yourself (or someone else) do on command though. What the hell is nouthetic counselling anyway? LOL All I remember is the idea that the person is responsible to change ... which makes sense to me ... but I haven't read the Bible for years, so I've pretty much been unnouthetized... Agape ... well, I guess it was unconditional love that smote all those bad guys in the OT ... just depends which end of the stick you're on ...
  10. Dana Kiing used to buy a tub of peanut butter with his $20 ... of course some managed to go out drinking on $20/month ... hmmmm .... maybe Pat was buying, or did the Bedard's supply booze at their apartment? I was never part of the in crowd I guess, so missed that shiit ... I was busy getting my aerobic points ... I caught up on the drinking later though :
  11. Good guess, not what I was thinking ... it's not about the people in the bottom pic, it's the food ... Our corps never got rice krispies or wheaties, that I recall this was that mixture of oats, nuts, ummm, kinda like granola .... but they called it ...
  12. fanthumbM uffet oprah ... close enough for me :) oh, it was a toe :) keeping with the italian accent ... the main actor is Italian I think ex corps may have an advantage, though I remember nut milk and no red fruit ...
  13. phantom of the opera not sure how you get of the though miss muffet?
  14. A blue rhino looks cold, you'd think they'd want a warm "Red Rhino" for a propane company ... I guess you use propane mostly for cooking down there though ... I'm a northern white rhino though ... but I still produce a lot of hot air like the blue rhino
  15. Is that 7th corps Anne? Why is she hosting? Was it really 30 years ago I was WOW in Pine Bluff? Holy Cow  (30 EFFIN YEARS MAN !!! HOOONK... LOL, as in a scene in Grosse Point Blank) Maybe it is a different Anne ... 7th Corps Anne married John Tuurner ? from Texas I think ... Anyway ... just wondering
  16. I seem to remember the Promised Seed astronomy guy having a major disagreement with VP and all. I've seen other groups do stuff on using stars to determine the date, but don't remember any coming up with 9/11 ... which is sorta curious ... I wonder if there is some other Muslim connection to 9/11 ... Anyway, I see John Crouch is credited with the scientific research ... I wonder if it was accurate? Seemed kinda interesting anyway ... probably the only thing still of interest to me. Saints and Citizens Motivation To Save A Nation America's Hope Just saw these going for 50 cents on Ebay ... VP and Milford Bowen Are Dead Alive was $5 ... The Living word Speaks dropped by a bunch, $44 at half.com, but still $70 at Amazon ... maybe I'll list there ... OK, time for wine :)
  17. That reminds me of "Back to the Future II" where the movie ended with the text message ... "To Be Continued" Paying customers were throwing their refreshments in anger LOL
  18. macarthur park? I can see art and her, and the guy at the wailing wall is named mac Or he had problems with his PC and is praying for a Mac.
  19. Well, true Nika ... what a way to spend our 20's ... not sure about limitations ... since it is still ongoing especially ... If it went to a jury, could we possibly lose? We could get maybe 1000 ex Corps? I'll be thinking about which cabin I want for my time share :) OK, Colts lost ... dummies ... now Bears are losing ... the Midwest may be out of the playoffs already ...
  20. All this still makes me think a class action suit would certainly get us control of a great vacation spot ... Camp Gunnison ... it would surely be settled out of court ... they don't even have a case ... we deserve it ... Time for the current BOD to stop living off our hard labor ... REALLY, doesn't anyone know a good lawyer ?
  21. Well, Overboard is one word, Going overboard is 2 ...LOL eagle, I think if that is it, you win :) either way
  22. Oh sure, like you just about had them ready to send :) I actually remember a daisy duke discussion with younger Corps gal that moved to New Orleans. She claimed her arse wasn't really showing ... it was just her upper thigh LOL I ran my finger up the thigh (Patsy B was in attendance) till it hit a stopping point ... "see, now that is where the thigh ends and the arse starts ... then we go way up here before the shorts start" :)cute little thang, but dumber than a box of rocks! OK, I just like that expression, but it is reprehensible that something that so many put so much of their lives into, degenerated to something largely about sex and power. Good grief ... or maybe it was that way before ... but I do like daisy dukes ... How big are those drinks in the two drink limit? Or is it like two types of drink? Like I was drinking beer, then went to tequila ... so no thanks, no jaegermeister for me ... now that is discipline !
  23. OK, is a bump like a hit of coke? silly me LOL a good time to question him on God's purpose for not giving him revelation about how his life was being endangered LOL I never remember any Way leaders being so blatantly full of themselves .... sheesh ... besides, the squeelers are there when the brakes are still working, you don't have to worry till they stop squeeling, then there is the grinding ... LOL ... or if you have to pump more than ten times before the brakes kick in, it may be time to check them :)btw, i only know this thru anecdotal evidence from Way slackard chauffers that don't watch out for their masters ... er, leaders ;)
