  1. Oldies, I beg to differ. You said Loyboy was seen in a tantrum. exhibiting hard meanness and other "loving" things that summer in 1989 at the advanced class
  2. Sorry everyone. I did not mean to cause any heebie jeebies by using that phrase that starts with r. Belle, I never purposely faked sit or interpretation/prophecy. The key word may be purposely. Thanks Mark, Evan and others for some very good insights. I can definitely agree on the pressure! I made sure I spoke in tongues before that session of class so I was ready beforehand.
  3. Hey outandabout! You just took next week's teaching.
  4. On the baptism thread, def59 said to Allan, You have me curious. Are you referring to just SIT being wrongly divided OR is this a reference to interpretation/prophecy? Either way I am interested in everyone's dividing of the Word on this topic.
  5. Well the other spin could be the fact that you have to be well-rounded and have community service projects in order to get all that scholarship money so you wont go in debt to go to college.
  6. Allan, BTW I have been on your website and I believe you are doing CFF-Christian Family Fellowship- a diservice by behaving and posting in the way you have been.
  7. :( ;) I remember hearing like you-to not change your route home. But also that sometimes you should change your route home so the adversary will get thrown off and not know which way you are going to go that day. (Go figure.) And heavens forbid a wife go home a different, unapproved way home that her husband doesnt know about! (Or stop at a store not discussed previously when telling said husband exactly where she was planning on going that day!)
  8. UMMMM Bear with me then.. If vp didn't believe the Bible was theWord of God until 1942...what did he base his teaching of the tithe to his brand new congregation on (in 1941)? Maybe this really does show his motivation after all.
  9. Irish eyes, I am sorry to hear that. Hang in there.
  10. Thanks for all your suggestions. I have them logged into the back of my "what do I do next?" notebook. lol
  11. I guess there is technically more than 2 now---twi website lists 5 bods now. There's the prevailing word in action! Memberships doubled! LOL
  12. Not sure how to phrase this..but I remember lcm yelling about those who believe in the Trinity cannot get born again since they didn't know who Jesus Christ really was. My questions: If you believe in Trinity now, do you think those of us who don't believe in it can be born again? If you don't believe in Trinity now, do you think those who do believe in it can be born again? OR Do you think it doesn't matter becuase God had to make things as easy as possible for us to get born again and that Romans 10:9-10 does not mention believe Jesus Christ is God but that we confess him as Lord?
  13. Hey all I may be ready to try to find a church. One I have some interest in is having a question/answer session with the pastor. If you were in my shoes, what questions would you ask this pastor to try to make sure it won't be another twi?
  14. Maybe have them check with some of the churches in that area to see what assistance they are offering?
  15. Hmm Ephesians 4: 17-32 gives us all types of information about putting off old behavior and put on the actions of the new man which is created in righteousness. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Grieve means to make sorrowful, offend, hurt I certainly wouldn't want to do that to my Father. I do find interesting that the Greek word for "fear" is phobos. That puts a whole new slant on things and does deserve reconsideration.
  16. The christian praise/worship songs are what began waking me up to what was missing in twi too. I am still church hopping though.
  17. You forgot to overlap percentages so they would total more than 100%!! As twi custom is.
  18. Hamm, Did you watch "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" recently? I can just picture them rolling in, mumbling all the way. In a last ditch attempt to stop them, the Singing Ladies try to sing a song to chase them away. This only makes them move faster and mumble louder.........
  19. One thing that got me was the absence of true thankfulness and praise to God in twi. I only noticed that after YEARS of listening to "secular" Christian music. It helped me see I was missing something that everyone else had. (A real connection to God and their Lord Jesus Christ.) (All the twi teens I have known couldn't stand the Singing Ladies music anyway! It's way too boring)
  20. The good it did for me early on was later erased. Then I was back where I started and in a worse situation for putting real life on hold for so long while in pursuit of twi approval.
  21. I know the perfect flavor!! They have INVISIBLE Koolaid now that looks just like water. Think it comes in kiwi-strawberry and other flavors. Since TWI is not what it claims/appears to be it would be perfect!
  22. Too bad this horrible disgusting crime is probably past the statute of limitations. If RU was never charged for the crimes he did to twi children,,maybe someone could sue him AND the way for the cover up.

    Caption this

eee gads!!! I was eating lunch when I saw this picture. eeeewwww caption scary harry was unable to find a job at the local circus so he had to find employment at the haunted house instead
  24. I think I remember seeing a picture of him(lcm) dressed up like the Apostle Paul? in some of my leadershi*'s homes. Anyone see or remember that?
  25. The approach advocated by twi ...It's a cold, intellectual style that fails to touch the heart. Exactly! We learned to cut off all emotions. No wonder we kept trying to prove ourselves-we weren't fufilled. We still needed the emotional attachment to our Father God and to our Lord Jesus Christ.
