I did not know Jim Doop. From what, I've heard about him, though, I think The Way would have fallen apart rather abruptly if its future had been entrusted to him. I don't think he could have ever continued on the path of corruption and deceit that Mr. Wierwille had carved out.

John Once again, your post serves no purpose other than to act as a catylist for diversion. There is nothing about this discussion that is even remotely related to Jesus, God, The Bible, cleansing or anything else along those lines. As I stated earlier, the subject of this discussion is the dubious nature of Mr. Wierwille's academic "credentials" and the reluctance of some people, such as yourself, to accept that reality. Please stay on the same page as everyone else.

John, how does that relate to the discussion? Are you saying it's wrong to question Mr. Wierwille's credentials because God has "cleansed" him? How do you know God "cleansed" him? Is it because you heard him say "Lo shanta la maka see tay."?

In all the FellowLaborer pictures I've ever seen, there is always someone missing. (Out on an assignment, running a class or whatever) So, it's possible Earl was simply "missing" that day. Still, I understand what you're saying about things not adding up. He's still around, running some sort of splinter effort someplace. Maybe he'll drop in and chew the fat with us.......but I doubt it.
