  1. It's not at all off topic, Jerry. Why not? Because in PFAL, Wierwille presented himself as someone who was capable of delivering a greater collective body of knowledge, regarding the Bible, than anyone had been able to do for the last 2,000 years. In view of the wholesale inaccuracy of much of what he presented, I would classify his claim as "outrageous".
  2. FULL SCREEN ALERT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhzBrxE75hc
  3. "You know what killed that little boy? Fear, in the heart of his mother."
  4. Well, Doctor said......"Cancer is a devil spirit." Yet, he, his brother Harry and his son Don all died from cancer. Anybody ever figure that one out?
  5. "like avoiding spraying Ant Spray in my eyes instead of at the ants." I hate when that happens.
  6. Let me see if I understand what you're saying. You have been going to this fellowship for 6 1/2 years and, during that time, you have revealed, to the female attendees, that Wierwille had a history of giving date-rape drugs to female believers so he could subsequently have illicit sex with them......and no one slapped you when you told them you condoned his behavior.... Is that correct? edit....Because you take exception to VP's character being called into question, let's approach it from a different angle. During those 6 1/2 years, how many of the actual errors in PFAL have you collectively discussed as a group?...things like dechomai/lambano...throughly/thoroughly....4 crucified...the cry of triumph....Nice/Nicea...."All the women in the kingdom belong to the king."...Bar Mitzva in OT times non-existent, the magical "law" of believing.....etc., etc. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/main2/editorial/editorial-items/actual-errors-in-power-for-abundant-living.html What sort of reactions did you observe to these revelations?
  7. Is that anything like "Yo Mama!"?
  8. The amazing Mr. Norton Buffalo!! (May he rest in peace.)
  9. He certainly was a compassionate fellow, wasn't he?
  10. "The Holocaust didn't really happen." Now that, my friends, is outrageous.
  11. Reality is a bitter pill to swallow.....author unknown
  12. I think most Christians would take greater exception to the first part of the statement than the second, in light of The Resurrection.
  13. Reminds me of that nutty story in PLAF (The Wonder Class) where VPW says the devil would peek in his desk drawer through the week to find out what he was going to preach about on Sunday..... Put it in a safe....hahahaha....now, that's funny! (but not really) Sorry. Was I being disrespectful again?
  14. Lookin' the big 61 in the face here. Where did it go? Would my life be any different if I hadn't gone to the park that night, 40 years ago, and run into a bunch of TWI-fers? More importantly, would life be any different for the people I unwittingly dragged into TWI? Well, life might be different for at least one.....He might still be alive.....There's no way to know for certain....I can't tell him I'm sorry....Although, I have stood at his grave and offered my apology to a cold piece of stone.
