Let this moment last forever Yes, it must Let each passing one seem like our very last Let's pretend that tomorrow's just a dream For we will all be one again. © 1970

Yeah, I think it's a fair question. I just wasn't sure what you meant. I guess I need to do some contemplation before I can give you an answer.

In the history of modern religions, The Way was nothing more than a flash in the pan.

"His ministry was a safe haven for people." WTF?? Have you been paying any attention at all? 1. He didn't have a "ministry", he was a cult figurehead. 2. Have you even noticed that people routinely found themselves in less than safe situations?
-
"we basically live in a male bashing culture now and men are treated worse than women, especially in sex situations." I'm curious. What does this statement mean? Can you, perhaps, give a few examples?

"But what twi did in 1994 was a fire sale. First they gave way corps 6 months to get out of debt, then they cancelled the wow program for 'homo infestation', then they got rid of unproductive people in twigs. Per Nietzsche's comment, who decides who's too weak? Nice" Well, Johnny, I thought no placed no value on the musings of Nietzsche. This is a surprising turn-about, I must say.

"I've said that VP did good things, not that he was a good man." OK, Johnny, I'll bite. What were these good things he did?
-
OK, John, I get your point. You simply choose to believe VPW was a good man. My opinion differs from yours greatly. But, no problem. To each his own. I bid you peace.

Well, I won the lottery once---sorta. I was in a lotto pool at work, with several other people. Our ticket hit for $1,000. We sent the office temp to cash it in at lunch and she never came back. But that wasn't a dream. :(

Well, maybe someday, some guy will come forward with a revelation that will shock us, once again. Then somebody else will probably step in and say something like, 'Oh, he was just showing them what to expect on the colon cleanse. And think of all the good that was wrought by 'the cleanse'."
-
I know there are documented cases of it at lower levels---even prison sentences---but I meant with the inner circle, top dog guys.
-
Makes you wonder if that, too, took place----I mean at the leadership level---know what I mean? I mean, how many years did it go on in the RC organization before it came to light?

"Wierwille is still up their rear." followed quickly by this: :(

Here's a question for you, John. Did VPW ever rape you? (Not talking about spiritually. I mean sexually.) Would it change your perspective if he had?

Put theology on the side bar for a moment and consider this logically. Why would God, who is supposed to represent all that is good, use lying, stealing and trickery to reveal a message of such supposed importance? For that matter, why would God choose a spokesman who antithesized the message he promoted? Well, I suppose someone will allude to Paul's past deeds at this juncture. Paul, however, whether real or not, represents a man who had an epiphany that inspired him to transform his behavior.

You don't have to put on the red light. -
There is, indeed, a chat room.

God choosing Wierwille as his spokesman. That's a little bit like hiring Jeffrey Dahmer to do a "What's For Dinner?" commercial.
