Signs of a genuine christian?
waysider replied to Composer's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Geeze! This whole "I win, you lose" banter reminds me of a PeeWee Herman routine or something. I know you are but what am I? I know you are but what am I? I know you are but what am I? AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!! -
I dunno. I'm thinking it was more like Kabuki.

Wow!!! I guess you showed ME a thing or two! -
It has occurred to me that we may have actually needed the name tags because, after a while, you start to forget who you really are.

What was The Way International Research Team
waysider replied to James Trimm's topic in About The Way
There may have been a lot of well intentioned individuals who worked in the "research department" over the years, but, as far as Wierwille was concerned, it was all just window dressing for his get-rich, MLM scheme. -
Ya see, that's a prime example of this inane idea that every word has to be meticulously groomed for accuracy. Can you imagine if this same concept had been applied to the visual arts, down through the ages? No impressionism, no pointillism, no abstract, no modern, no avant garde, no surrealism, no romantic------------just pictures that "edify" (whatever the hell that means.)

Well, you've heard of "Children of the Corn"? This is more like "Children of the Wheat Berries".

Yes, I can see where the first two lines, by themselves, may appear to be something from "Alien".

If only you knew what's inside of me now. You wouldn't want to know me somehow. Give just a little bit more. Take a little bit less from each other tonight.

Why does this thread give me deja vu of PFAL? -
It sounds like TWI's concept of a "jam session" is anything BUT a jam session.

If anyone still wonders how far back Wierwille's devious aspirations reached, they only need to look at this historical iinformation with an open mind.

Once again, you have demonstrated that you lack an understanding of Way theology.
