No I don't defend twi at all,but I will reply if someone tries to lay blame on God whilst at the same time trying to purport a 'Christian' outlook. Hammeroni..did you call me Eliphaz ? Hey mate..I left all the personal name calling behind me in twitsville..maybe some people have more 'waybrain' than they would like to think !! As for sitting in an out-house.. If holding onto 'foundational Biblical truths' learnt means I sit in an out-house rather than a castle,I take that as a priviledge,I'm sure Jesus can relate to that !!

Well Rascal,contrary to what you would like to see happen, there will be many still with a deep love for God and the Bible who will leave and ENJOY continuing fellowship with MANY of the foundational truths learnt.

Rascal..I take offense at some things you say.."as WE sit in our little fellowships" etc.. You know very well YOU are not involved in any 'fellowship' groups. I really take offense because you think some of us are that 'dumb' to believe you that you have some sort of penchant for God but in reality sound determined to blaspheme Him any opportunity you get.

Kind of reminds me of Lots' wife who grieved over all her posessions she had to leave behind. Maybe she turned into a pillar of salt because the only other alternative would have been Lot being driven insane by her harping on about it years down the track ??!!

I agree it can take time to get over things, but 20years down the track ??!!

..and reading through GS posts let me say..there are some who left bitter and 'twisted',there are some who left and 'dissed' God and His Word,there are some here who never were involved in twi at all!! and there are some who are still into 'moving with the things of God', which one you will be is ENTIRELY up to you,just don't decide 'better to stay with the 'devil' you know' just because of some peoples OPINIONS. Oh..me thinks 'think fish' is just another recent arrival from the misdiagnosed agnostic society of perpetual salami beaters.

I have just realized something and that is that being an 'International' at campus and h.q. we probably felt differn't at things that went on as say compared to many of you who had to live in the 'midst' of it all. When we got back to our respective countries we had to deal with the .... in our own backyards as anyone reading my threads would have seen. For at times seeming 'insensitive' I sincerely apologise.(Must be the differn't brand of coffee I'm drinking !!) Having said that,Selina and I have no regrets having had sold our house to go 'in-res'. We learnt a lot, managed to avoid nearly all the .... going on in your guys backyards(twi) and are still utilizing a lot of the good stuff to keep serving God to the best of our ability. Bless you and LOVE YOU ALL !!

Rascal..sorry but you've quoted VP wrong, he never taught a prophet brings new light. I do wonder if some of you ever were in twi and if you were if anything ever sunk in and if it didn't what were you in it for ?!

I think the leadership/bot at twi are Bored, Spoilt,Nothing better to do,probably why they get off on 'manipulating' other peoples lives. Kind of reminds me of movies like 'Phone Booth' and that Robin Williams movie where he played a photo express developer !!

Thats what I don't understand about some things said by some of you.. sometimes !! Who said he had a 'healing ministry' either ?!

I don't think I ever remember VPW referred to as a 'prophet' for starters, but rather an apostle and teacher. Tricked by Satan, yes, one of satans' seed men..? get real!! why would satan allow so MANY to get born again, saved by way of VPWs' ministry and don't try to excuse it, MANY did, including myself and I am still very thankful I didn't get born-again in one of these fri**in 'fruitcake' other instituitions !! I was meant to have gone to the international conference just before the family reunion, but had some family issues come up, so I emailed John, Wayne letting them know..Sorry, can't make it. The old 'waybrain' says "don't even want to read the reply email'!! But they emailed back a very understanding reply.

To answer simply, I believe the ministry itself and what it had to offer in the way of facilitating Gods' Word and offering 'deliverance' to many who were non-churched and many (lest we forget) who came from other denominations was VERY GOOD.The people running it past and present were/are VERY BAD. p.s. how many know that it was actually Rev. Wayne Clapp(now at CFFM) who finally confronted Craig Martindale FACE TO FACE over what had been going on ?!, take my hat off to him.

Rascal, I don't really connect 'thankful for things learnt' with 'praising twi'! I am being honest in saying that myself and selina are thankful for what we learnt and are still enjoying 21 years of marriage, maybe because we're still 'moving the Word' and I know that remark probably leaves me wide open but the truth is even we have said we would not still be together if we weren't doing what we're doing. We sold our home to go 'in-res',I have been assaulted,we have had our names trashed before family members..we're over it, but that doesn't mean stopping warning people about twi. For the sake of getting people saved I would direct them to a pentecostal church before I directed them twi way.

Second James, well said !! I wasn't dumb enough to take ALL the .... thrown at me from leader.... flingers in twi, I wasn't dumb enough to let it 'eat away' at me for eons afterwards and I'm certainly not dumb enough to blame God for my dumbness !!

I have warm fuzzies about the good people that were in TWI,yes even the satooris and grouchos and long gones, I'd have a beer wit yo all any day of da week ! I just didn't get warm fuzzies over LCM.In fact one time when he was sharing in the Indiana chapel, he pulled his sleeve back to (inadvertantly)display a jewelled bracelet he was wearing and I nearly physically passed out, yes I absolutely believe serious devil spirits hanging around the joint.Interestingly enough, talking with Wayne Clapp about it recently, he said he had had similar experiences around LCM !

I believe I am better off for having learnt the 'good stuff' I did along with Selina whilst in TWI. As in Johnny Lingos thread, plenty of miracles big and small that some are comforted by calling 'lucky, coincidental,able to be rationalised' etcc.. A question for ya..did Jesus believe in believing ?

I remember Pau* Mosqu**a opening up a meeting by chewing the corps out because he had just been to have a dump and when he went to wipe his butt, realised the last person hadn't replaced the empty toilet roll !! Then he proceeded to teach about corps not being spiritually sharp enough !!

Turned out later we heard she was..wonder what finally gave the game away ??!!
