  1. You take your kind of hummer and I will take mine. :D-->
  2. Exactly Radar, Sex sells. That is what the pouty lips are all about. IMHO big lips do not mean good hummers. As usual Hollywood has it backwards.
  3. I loved the few posts that the first thing they thought of was "seed". I did have that thought but it was not my first. I don't think the Pope is seed and I think he did what he could to move goodness foward in this world as he saw fit. I look back some 19 years ago since I have been out and see VPW and LCM and RR very close to being seed. When I say I see them as almost being seed. I don't think they are seed but a very heavy influence. I have not hardly cracked a bible in the past 19 years. I do remember what was taught about devil spirits in the twi. From what I have seen and read about TWI and according to their own teachings. TWI is infested with them and it is very close to the devil himself running the twi. JMHO
  4. A Redbone Coonhound. I took this test last year and am still a Redboned Coonhound.
  5. It was nothing but (the love of money) that twi wanted and that was why the pressure was there. Who wants to bet that lcm's abundant sharing was built into his salary even though everything was given to him on a platter.
  6. Pat, In your first post. I know exactly where you are comming from. When I first got out a lot of my decisions were made by what I learned at twi. Time and what ex 10th said (reverting back to pre twi days, on how you made decisions)saved my a$$. Having said that even though I have been out a long time. I still get the same thoughts you do today "twi or not". When my mind does that I have to lose that feeling and go by gut. I can still hear those teachings in my mind today when I have to make decisions. It is not nearly as haunting as it once was and I have more or less learned to ignore them. Like some said here in this thread. We are going to make mistakes. IMHO, Make the decision and hope you are right but if your wrong do what you should do and learn from it. Either a right or a wrong decision will help you learn more about you and it will not haunt you so much. Those damn people effed so many heads up. If you can and are able and WANT to, go see a professional.
  7. How about lobsters? People say they scream. I have never heard one scream. If they do they are still yummy with a glass of champaign :)-->
  8. Happy Easter, Everyone. I hope the pagan Easter Bunny was good to you all (really just the Easter Bunny) I don't think the twi would dare put their thinking or teachings about Easter on the web site. That would start to show what kind or group they are. Whomever goes to that website whether it is a referral from someone here or if they are trying to save a loved one in, or one thinking of going in. They (twi) try and make themselves look as main stream as possible (a wolf in sheeps clothing). How many people do you all think their website alone has recruited? I bet a big fat 0. Atleast this place and Waydale can boast they got people out and exposed some of the evils of twi and be proud of it.
  9. Whoaaa George, You took the thoughts right out of my mind.
  10. Belle, I too am amazed at the insight of people here. Rascal, Your post just struck a nerve with me. A good nerve. I think that was my point in my first post. Just because we get married does not mean the hubby is now Gods favorite and the woman must just lay down and take crap from her husband. God did not make the human spirit for that. How can any women that is in your friends shoes be truly happy? Ohh yeah it was wonderful before they were married. When they did get married things changed quickly. All of a sudden it was not the man she married. With the twi and their controling doctrine. She felt she had no choice. She loves God and is trying to do God's will and bless her heart for that. As rascal said. It almost took God to lift a 2x4 and wrap her with it to get her attention. I don't know if I will ever forget your story rascal. Marriage is hard enough for 2 people to have a "good" marriage. Belle I can't believe what your friend must be thinking about the man she loved to just switch so fast as the way he treated her. I agree she must do something drastic to get his attention and then let him decide.
  11. This maybe a thread killer. Don't blame twi for this. It is the mindset of the husband and she is bowing to it. Before they got married she could do this stuff, call mom, girlfriends or go out.The husband caught her hook line and sinker. That was not her fault (maybe?) The husband knew exactly what he wanted. He found the perfect girl that listened to him. It was "Looooove" all sweet and luvy duvy. Once the hitch(marriage) was made he had her from that point. Now twi likes to teach this sort of crap. He just let her do what she wanted to do. Probably never said things would change after they were married. Probably just the oppisite (" oh baby I love you for what you are and do") When those rings were slid on the fingers, that's when things changed in his mind. I know she has a child but what is she willing to do? If she wants things to change. She has to be able to step out on her own and say "look here "mofo" if things don't change, I am outta here" This is just everyday life whether you are in or out of twi. She may have one step further to go than the rest of the world. Does she want to leave twi for her sanity. That is another if not the biggest step for her. I hope and pray what ever direction she turns, it is for her well being. She need to get out of one or both. Most defintly out of twi.
  12. I have had all the above happen except for the last 2 days. It has been very nice for the last 2 days. :)-->
  13. outofdafog, Are you GOD :)--> Nice touch about the corps. I was corps and consider myself a believer just like you were. I just wish the twi could see it. We each had our place in the little twi tree. No corps was or is more important than you were. When I say you. I don't mean just you. "Joe Believer" got squashed in twi so did corps. It was heartless and a witch hunt that had no rhyme or reason. You stand as tall in Gods eyes as the highest ranking way corps member that just wanted to serve God with a pure heart.
  14. Thanks Shaz. I found it and good job.
  15. Shaz, Is this the right link? http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/Ultimate.cgi I went their and did not see your post. I was wondering if it is like twi chat board? Ask a question and poof it is gone. -->
  16. Great post Shaz ;)-->
  17. Heheheheh It is just spin. They want us to believe they are kinder now.We know human sacrifices still happen every day at twi.
  18. This was many years ago. I will say the same thing I said to him ( my step son). He came home speaking of some of the good things Hitler did. I asked him what did Hitler do good? He said well he built the auto bo.... I steped in and said two words "Hitler bad" He went on after ww1 how Germany was in a depression and how Hitler made Germany Prospe.......... I said "Hitler bad". I expained to him (in a calm voice). That anything Hitler did was BAD. I will say the same thing here. the way international BAD.
  19. Whether you thought it was "churchy", funny, sad or the candles ( I liked that one). I think it was who was doing it. I went through all kinds. It was like anything that we go through today. If it was positive. It was good. If it was bad, it was BAD.
  20. Those that were married and in. That had to suck. I know some were married while in twi. I have read all sort of reasons why people were married from a marriage being arranged, marriage so you would not be lonley out in the field (corps marrying corps) and even some that married out of love. To this day I hardly let anyone give me advice on my marriage. I have had people give me advice when I was dating someone and it backfired in my face. I found out the person you are married too respects you and your decisions. I would think that is why they loved you in the first place. That's what makes it work. JMHO.
  21. 2nd morning in a row I woke up and read what you said in this thread ex10. IMO You are hitting the nail right on the head. :)--> I know we can minister better since leaving that little cult. We can throw more than bible verses at them. If I said to a friend of mine today. "Just renew your mind" I would get some awfully strange looks. Since my friends around here are not bible thumpers. It takes a lot of thought and caring to help someone.
  22. I gotta agree with you. That is a power play. Try that crap in the real world. Then I think how twi had it all set up. According to twi he did what was right (I think). It is amazing though that he did not want the privacy of your relationship. I don't think he was Jesus Christ. I bet you could have tattled on him too.
