Cost less... that's about it.

Adults also tend to search for meaning, particularly during times of uncertainty, research suggests. A 2008 study in Science (Vol. 322, No. 5898) by Jennifer Whitson, PhD, and Adam Galinsky, PhD, found that people were more likely to see patterns in a random display of dots if the researchers first primed them to feel that the participants had no control. This finding suggests that people are primed to see signs and patterns in the world around them, the researchers conclude. People also have a bias for believing in the supernatural, says Barrett. In his work, he finds that children as young as age 3 naturally attribute supernatural abilities and immortality to “God,” even if they’ve never been taught about God, and they tell elaborate stories about their lives before they were born, what Barrett calls “pre-life.” “What we’re showing is that our basic cognitive equipment biases us toward certain kinds of thinking and leads to thinking about a pre-life, an afterlife, gods, invisible beings that are doing things — themes common to most of the world’s religions,” says Barrett. Yes, he did... 1) Delusions of grandeur and 2) sense of entitlement. Especially when it came to sexual favors.

Not only that, but as I was completing a bachelor's degree in accounting in the mid-1980s, it became apparent to me (from the Book of Acts) that accountability in twi was bass-ackwards. The ministers were supposed to be accountable to those they were ministering to. But because twi consolidated (centralized) the power of its resources (ABS), they developed the misguided notion that the "leaves" were supposed to be accountable (subservient) to those at the root.

AFAIK, VB was the only one in the 14th corpse.

That's Victor Barnard. He was no longer involved with TWI when he started his own cult and raped multiple tweens. He's behind bars now and probably will never walk free again. That's not who Pawtucket was referring to in April 2011. We only learned about Barnard in 2014 or 2015.

Humans can be such strange animals. The power of WANTING to believe is very strong. IMO, that's an underlying issue with cult susceptibility.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. - Albert Einstein Indeed, worry and fear stifle imagination and curiosity.

Lack of curiosity, perhaps?

You haven't studied or reflected on much literature in your time on this earth, have you? "All nine all the time" was cult jargon, an idiom. Not to be understood as literally as you suggested. Nevertheless, for other reasons YES it is and always was a meaningless cliché.

Or nothing more than parroting what Wierwille said... because he said it.

I think you've made some inferences that go beyond what JALvis has stated. Yes, he has said he has cancer. He has not indicated how long any physician has given him to live.

Being gay is not ok... how TWI indoctrinates children against LGBT people

I appreciate and agree. It would be great if references to that could have links to those first hand records. Thanks. :) -
So much for that group being about "The Word." The FB cover pic has a stack of four books, one of which was authored by the guy who fired Nixon special prosecutor Archibald Cox. That author was also appointed but denied confirmation to the US Supreme Court. My hunch is that they're trying to institutionalize some flavor of politics in their religion.

They've also got a pretty Facebook page.

Ask them. Their website is easily found with a google search.

The situation is referenced in Undertow.

Being gay is not ok... how TWI indoctrinates children against LGBT people

Well, we already know that RFR tells people that GSC is full of lies about TWI. If she's asked for examples, unless there is tangible evidence, she'll point to claims that she and Donna have been in a long-term lesbian relationship. That doesn't help when people are wanting understanding of the reality of life in TWI. Evidence isn't a matter of opinion. It's a matter of facts. I may believe the obvious about RFR and DM, but my belief doesn't make it fact. -

GSC has plenty of first hand record of the sexual indiscretions of Wierwille and Martindale. But what's the case regarding RFR? Is there anything more than innuendo? Sometimes the innuendo is accurate, but if people are going to make claims like that about RFR, I'd be more comfortable if there was more tangible evidence to back it up. -
It wasn't when SOWERS was first set up. I doubt that's changed.

To keep from allowing the Military-Industrial Complex to atrophy, government propaganda strongly suggested that fear was "totally reasonable." In retrospect, and examining historical records, the fear of attack (by force of military might) from the USSR was overblown as Soviet leadership also feared possible M.A.D. outcomes. But as to Kruschev's threats to attack from within... that's been shown -- especially within the last two years -- to be completely reasonable.

Bondage based on fictive interpretations of the bible. Ugh. I'm confident LGBTQ children weren't the only ones put into inappropriate mental and emotional bondage by that crap. -
Fox News broadcaster Bret Baier (with a co-author) wrote Three Days in January which examines historical records regarding Eisenhower's farewell speech. Baier suggests the USSR wasn't likely to actually attack the US.
