  1. Oh I find it hard to believe he never said it himself at some point. His ego knew no bounds. That he never said it while being taped and record we can be certain of... but I am sure there were plenty of opportunities to say it before 1969 and Plenty of other people were saying it after that. Reading this stuff mkes me feel like throwing up.. When you here it in a twig it is a tiny peace but seeing it laid out here in it's totality, it makes me feel really rather ill. I still remember when my WOW Family Coordinator went into the Corps and quit before the first year was out... I asked someone what happened and they said he left because he felt the ministry was ungodly because of the Weirwille worship. She(The gal I was talking to) of course thought he was being unreasonable but I knew Bill really well .. we had been WOW and I knew his love of God and his personal stand. I wished I could talk to him but there was no internet then. HE was smart to leave. Of course Hubby and I left about two years after that, before the big Corps perge, but still I wish I had gotten a chance to talk to him then. I probably would have heard a lot of this and maybe left sooner.
  2. It is interesting that the thing we are most concerned with is that our drive by poster does not fall prey to the same evil that we all did. Our biggest concern is that he not waste any of his life.. and we are asking for answers to questions that would point out the facts that that is exactly what SOWERS is. I wonder if He has been on line with out posting but has read what has been written her. I wonder if it has added to his own doubts and question. Obviously he has them.. and obviously his parents are involved in this new variation of TWI so maybe he can not really feel free to say what he think Or maybe as some one else mentioned maybe it is just that he was sent here as part of his mission. Oh I have to come back in a bit to write more Hugs to you all Caleb if you read this maybe you can PM some of the posters. For privacy
  3. I have not run into anyone in 20 years. but the last 12 are just because I live in a tiny town, far from any possible twig. and the previous 8 were well the martindale years and I think twigs werre pulling in and not expanding so the chances of me meeting any one then were also slim to none. I have on line now ran into three people I knew from after my WOW year. I suspect it depends again on where you are... BAck east where there was a larger concentration of people would make it more likely to run into some one!
  4. What do you mean he isn't superman? Are you sure? because I could of sworn he had blue tights and red boots and a cape and could save the world
  5. Hi Hammie... I have been thinking about this thread a lot. Any way I was going to Business college when TWI came along I was studying toward an accounting degree. I was halfway thru the program.. Now no one in TWI twisted my arm but... I, like an idiot decided to go WOW and figured I could go back and finish up later. Well life got in the way and now here I am about to turn 50 and back in school. The question I keep wondering in my head is why did TWI enncourage so many of us to quit school and go WOW or into the corps. Really if they had any sense at all they would encourage you to stay in school more earnings equals more money eventually to them... but more and more I realize at least for VP and the BOT's it was all about a quick buck. I don't think he ever in his wildest dreams expected it to go as long as it did or grow as big as it did. And I was an idiot. They never once encouraged us to continue with our education so we could support ourselves and our family it was a sudo you should do the corps training. or go WOW you can go back later. Really now that I think about it it makes me a angry at myself for being young and foolish and not stopping long enough to think it all thru.

    Beautiful

I love this.. I haven't looked at it for a while. Thanks for posting it Shellon
  7. I think the disagreement and sharing of different view points is what keeps me coming back... IT helps me kind of sort out what I experienced and it shines a light onto the stuff I never knew about while I was in TWI and it helps me understand all the questions I have or had about the red flags I had or even the stuff I heard that I questioned. So I hope you hang around a bit more tagalong.
  8. Happy Happy Birthday George with a hug and a kiss. Hope you had a blast \
  9. how about I left before it all came out and learned about it here. and Wasn't surprised
  10. Colorado Springs...pretty much the same s aRR said.. it is beautiful located at the foot of Pikes peak.. lots of good stuff there DO Not under any circumstances move to Pueblo.. Just saying... I lived there for a while ...My Brother and his family still lives there .. IT has always been difficult to find employment there and it is a steel Mill town which pretty much says it all. Grand Junction is nice too
  11. Hi Sowers Welcome to Grease Spot. I am willing to assume V2p2 is not VP his grand dad but why teach the same stuff and set up a similar program when he knows how much his Granddad hurt people. You see I am pretty certain the VP you know... Knows what his Grand dad did I am pretty sure he looks on here at least occasionally. and there are some people here who were victims of VP and I am pretty sure one of my twig leaders was a victim of him too from some stuff I know about even though she never said it happened to her. But as you said no second hand witnessing. I know how VP treated people at ROA I saw it first hand. so I will stick to what I know he was a mean bastard! I hope for V2P2's sake that he really is trying to learn the Bible and do something good. Unfortunately by basing his program on PFAL and the ministry he is following a flawed premise and stolen information. There are all kinds of people at Grease Spot but just because people choose to question PFAl doesn't mean they have walked away from God's Word which is not the same as walking away from PFAL. Anyway welcome to here and I will be praying for you.
  12. Ahhh that brings back fond memories.
  13. Well I am glad your out and giving them a run for their money!
  14. LOL Well you know I am a show me kinda Gal! We have four cats and a hawk that visits regularly.. I dread to think what it would be like if we had no cats and no hawk. Sadly last Friday Our best ground squirrel and gopher catching cat had to be put to sleep. She will be missed.
  15. One more attaboy... and kiss that baby... My brother who has been cigarette free for two years just came by and I have to say his skin looks so nice now... quitting for him made his skin look younger. and all it took was a heart attack and two shunts to give him the incentive. Count your self blessed Raf!
  16. They haven't marked and Avoided you yet???? What is wrong with them? Really I am with George. What are you supposed to do with your life. Spit in the wind... fall on your knees and pray for protection from the debil spureets?? Tithe 20% or show up and be slave labor at NK
  17. Funny that... you take the people who are truly committed to your movement and beat the spirit and heart right out of them and wonder why your ministry is falling apart. Well duh... it doesn't take a rocket scientist, add to the mix the closing off of contact with the outside world and Waaa LAaaa it has to fold into itslef and disappear sooner or later.
  18. I have run into this attitude a lot... actually My boss pulls this BS out of his mental hat.. The line ... We are man God put us in charge so no animal or insect is more important than what we want to do... IT is a stupid immature and nearsighted attitude that forgets that all living creatures coexist... and we all effect each other. Man.. the only creature on earth that causes his own extinction not to mention all the other creatures well except the cock roaches they are inheriting earth after we die out
  19. I will only send you 15%if you manage to successfully eradicate all the vermin from my yard this includes pocket gophers ground squirrels. mice and voles. I have a large yard.
  20. I went to the Dawn detergent site... apparently dawn hand dish soap does not contain phosphates per the company but according to some online person it did before 1998.
  21. This may or may not work for the caterpillars it certainly works for white fly and mites and aphids. Fill a bucket with warm soapy water(I use Dawn Dish soap, which seems to be the most effective) Then go out and really douse your tree/bush. be sure to get the undersides of the leaves too and do not use sparingly... IF you have n of those pump sprayers use that. but I like to just take my buckets of water and heave them over my bigger plants. You would be surprised how effective this is.... and the plants love the dish soap. any way it also works for powdery mildew. I think the bugs don't like the flavor of the soap. I have used safer soap but i find it really harsh on my skin... as in I get the tingly hands .. I am assuming it has sulfa/sulfer in it which I am allergic to but I can have my hands in the dish soap all day and no worries. Also the dish soap really gives the plants a boost for some reason. I am not sure why!
  22. Sorry i got what you were saying I was being a bit sarcastic. IT is Mankind's Arrogance that is what got us in trouble in the garden of Eden and as your example shows, it is still getting us into trouble today.
