  1. You're going a way back there Tom So, are you a fan?
  2. Any Todd Rundgren fans reading here? In my younger days I'd go to every Utopia concert I could get to :) The music was good and the words had meaning... the crowd was different... some people brought their kids. Personally, I thought Kasam was cute, and recently viewed a video of the 1980 concert in Royal Oak... I never noticed that their teeth were so crooked?... wild to take a look back into time like that... caught some drum sticks in that concert! The New Cars looks like fun... Might be a good concert for the family...? Anyone else? can read about them here: http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/articl...t_id=1002158139
  3. Thanks... it was new news to me... maybe that type of 'reproof' is given for infrequent reading? j/k It's all good

    Winny the Cat

    How did Winny get hurt?
  5. Our youngest is now 5. He has three older siblings, 12, 14 & 17... he has heard us tell jokes on several occasions, and likes to be involved. His jokes ALWAYS involve a rabbit, the rabbit does something fairly current to family happenings (sledding, rollerskating, swimming), then it is struck by a car or other moving object, it is taken to the hospital and the doctor pokes it in the eye... He laughs at his own jokes like it was the funniest thing in the world... then he says, 'okay, wait, I have another one'... and proceeds to tell the same joke... by this time we're all laughing at his laughing, and he can bearly speak because he thinks we found the joke funny.... This has gone on for hours... it really is quite funny
  6. So WordWolf... should posts be replyed to only if they're current? I do notice that some people here are funny, and seem to lend humor to posts, some are serious, some angry... a big group of different kinds of people... Seems to be okay... me, I think I'm a thread killer... maybe too serious :( or just boring?!?

    Moving Day

Shellon, if this move takes place, will it be during Spring Break? I have some boys here that could lend a couple of hands :) We're not too far away... Reading the post about Way moving mentality makes me MAD So many items that were left behind in moves... so many albums, drum sticks caught mid air druing a Utopia Concert, priceless family heirlooms... how stupid, how very, very stupid I was!
  8. My favorite is the 'new one' w/ the SITing Dog! Brought back memories of the book we were to get to learn how to raise children~
  9. When it's time to have a new President, perhaps there will be a vote as to which VP did the best 'job'. Which one of those guys was the most pliable...I mean faithful to the Way, or er, ummm to God. Which guy had his wife and family in 'order'? Which one could make the better appearance? Which of them knows the law enough to not have to pay out more money in lawsuits? It's a plan in action. Nothing left to chance. They'll be ready when the time comes. They continue to MAKE STRONG the walls of ZION!!! They've marched in, and they plan on staying!!!
  10. 'Leviathan' is used 4 times in the bible, and since it seems to be referring to the stars and the message written there... it could be~ (I'm not a stars expert) There is something about alcoholics that is freaky and snakish though... my brother, sister-in-law & all three of their boys drink all day, everyday. They know it all, and have 'wise' excuses for most everything. They think they're good at concealing their habits... More there than meets the eye... one nephew's new bride had stayed with them for a few months. After she left she realized she couldn't see what was happening while she was there, but it became clearer when she was gone, and she was ashamed and disgusted. My brother called her and threatened her life if she 'told' anyone... I'd like her to speak up, so my parents don't get tricked into staying there when they're old & helpless~

    Table Wine

Gallo White Merlot (smoother than Merlot) (Just 'Gallo', not Gallo Twin Valley which is a weaker table wine) I was part of a survey a little while back for Gallo... We tried the White Merlot out of curiosity, and liked it. About $5.- $7. for a big bottle... size ?
  12. This is funny... but I honestly feel somewhat paranoid as to why there aren't more replys. I took that pill, and was elevated above the common man... 'they' could only be truely trusted if they took that pill too... otherwise, believer 'be not deceived' Side effects can be very painfull~
  13. This seems to be needed. Looking around in America it doesn't seem like 'we' are at war. As a daughter of WWII vetrans, German & American, my only experience is some effects that are evident in my parents. As to why my mother has her fruit cellar filled with foods & paper products... just in case~ An Dad always has loaded guns around... he's ready (they're in their 80's) They grow most of their own food, and have several bees... the less they need others, the better off they think they'll be (just in case) As a country at war, our young people seem clueless. Does it seem like China has more community involvement in the protection of their own? Well, okay, they're forced to participate... But what are we Americans doing as a whole to prepare and protect ourselves? Let's see what some men and women are doing... :(

  18. IT'S THE SAME OLD EXCUSE... My first EVER large way meeting, the Dr himself eyeballed me for some time from the side of the stage in Nashville, TN. (I remember thinking, who is that guy, and why is he looking at me... where the HELL is that girl that brought me here... she should be done in the bathroom by now....should I leave? I promised to save her seat...) Trying to enjoy the music... Claudette was singing I think... this old guy walked right up to me and asked if the seat next to me was taken... (this was odd, because there were several OTHER seats open in front of me, on the other side of me, down the row, behind me) So, I told him the truth, I was saving it for the girl that brought me... THIS WAS NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER. The answer to that question could only be YES or NO, as he YELLED ... and I mean YELLED... it shook up even the people behind me... people stopped talking amongst themselves... it was very quiet  He walked away, seated himself on and end seat in another row, turned slightly in my direction, and stared at me. Since I didn't know who he was, and I didn't really want to show that he shook me up, I remained seated and thought several times to flick him off After seeing him on stage, I was glad I was 'cool' about it... everyone seemed to really like the guy :( Sorry... off topic there~ Honestly, the Way has taught me there is an acceptable excuse for bad behavior: Taken straight from Romans 7:19 & other places... "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." Where is free will? Don't we have power? Are we able to kick some b*tt? Will God himself help us whenever we ask? The writing on the stone continues to pass the excuse on...

    Ro*tel

Our first experience with Ro*tel was last year. We like refried beans, and serve it frequently for just about any meal. Our Sam's Club has a LARGE package of the Ro*tel original diced tomatoes & green chilies. It seemed like a good pantry item... Refried beans can get boring, so while looking in the pantry, thinking about 'how' to make those beans more interesting, this family favorite was born~ 2 one pound cans refried beans 1 10oz can Ro*tel original (juice too) Mix, Heat & enjoy!.... Wonderful as a dip, over eggs, on toast, with other veggies, stuffed in celery sticks or lettuce leaves, drizzled over nachos, layered with rice in stuffed peppers,... my favorite is a slice of tomatoe, bean mixture and a jalapeno on top! The first time we all were wondering what was so dang HOT! 5 out of 6 of us love it.... the 5 year old just has a nibble or two :)
  20. Hope this link works. The kids and I enjoyed watching Chis Bliss in action~ smooth http://marketplace.espeakers.com/movie.php...=5290&aid=10558
  21. Hey Tom :) Once it's clicked and opens in a new page, hold your curser over it- a small square orangish box will appear with arrows on each corner- click on that expansion box to view at normal size. It's a collection of children's writings to God... funny :B)
  22. It seems the West Georgia Drug Task Force is busy~ No 'Holland' excursions for this team ;)
