Correct. I meant to post more hints on the 2nd one.

When I think of Dean Jones, the ONLY movies that come to mind are part of the "HERBIE THE LOVE BUG" franchise.

Ok, new spins on old concepts. Name any to take the round. A)This Netflix comedy is based on a similar concept to "Welcome Back Kotter." In this one, we focus more on the teachers, but there's a few jokes about the students as well. One administrator would love to run the Drama club- if the students would be willing to go along. Since he's a frustrated (inept) singer/actor, it's more about him than about actually teaching and engaging the students. Actors include Maggie Geha (adult Ivy from "Gotham") and Jacob Vargas (Mr Roarke from the "Fantasy Island" theatrical movie.) This show was derailed due to COVID and may be over abruptly. B) This 90s show was based on a similar concept to "the Brady Bunch." A couple remarries and each brings kids into the new family. Actors include Bronson Pinchot in a supporting role.

Since he didn't say if the answer was correct, I looked up "Mother's Little Helper" and that was it. Next one. "In and around the lake, the mountains come out of the sky and they stand there." -
If "He is-I'm Abercrombie" had been a running gag for you, you'd have gotten it just as easily. I admit the running gag was unlikely to happen in the first place, except there's a big A + F store in Manhattan, and I used to shop there periodically before it got popular. (They sold some good colognes at one point.)

"Like it or not, he knew what he was doing when he assaulted women. When he messed with other men's wives. Even the most thick among us know that messing around with other people's spouses isn't a good look (as it were). " Yes, but this isn't a matter of how thick lcm was. When he was at university, he had no trouble recognizing that. This one goes back to vpw again. vpw specifically went out of his way to teach lcm that infidelity was fine if he could get away with it. He taught him his usual bs excuses, and even told him that he wouldn't make much of a leader until he got over his resistance to cheating on his wife. ("Loosening up in this category" was how he phrased it.) So, yes, fresh out of university, lcm knew that. After vpw was done indoctrinating him, he was ok when he assaulted women, and messed with other men's wives. I'm sure that-at that point- he no longer recognized that as obviously wrong. There's an old story. Someone asked some tribal elder what a conscience was. He said it was a 3-cornered thing in here (he signalled to his chest). When he did wrong, it spun, and the corners hurt him. But if he KEPT doing wrong, then the corners would wear down and it wouldn't hurt any more. lcm ONCE knew right from wrong. After vpw was done with him, he often confused one for the other and thought right was wrong and vice versa. I don't know if he's seeing the same reality as the rest of us even to this day. I hope he is, for his own sake.

Ok, this was Michael Penn's one hit, "NO MYTH." "What if I was Romeo in black jeans? What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth. Maybe she's just looking for someone to dance with." For now, FREE POST.

Well, lots of shows and movies have reused a handful of places, and lots have had a mansion. There was a time (before it was cool) when I wore a shirt that had "Abercrombie and Fitch" on it in the Summer. (It was light grey and I like that in Summer.) When I walked in for Fellowship behind this new guy once, Raf read the shirt, then joked, asking "Who's Fitch?" I pointed to the new guy. "He is. I'm Abercrombie." So, I actually noticed when Roy Harper was nicknamed "Abercrombie" in "ARROW." Since the Queens had a mansion, that's probably the answer here.

Well, the new Kirk was also the new Steve Trevor- Chris Pine in "Wonder Woman" and "Star Trek", so that's who I'm going with.

lcm was one of vpw's victims, also. Think about it. lcm was this very average jock in college, with some connections to other Christians on campus. vpw was sold to him as the greatest thing since sliced bread. lcm bought it hook, line and sinker. lcm at graduation went straight from college into full-time twi, thus ensuring he NEVER had the experiences most people have of actually WORKING, paying rent, paying taxes, etc. He was groomed to do things in twi, and to imitate vpw all the time, convinced vpw actually had a connection to God Almighty. When it came time for vpw's successor, vpw made sure it was lcm because lcm never questioned vpw no matter what. (vpw wanted to make sure he always had his successor in his pocket.) Imagine vpw's surprise when lcm thought he had Papal Infallibility once he ascended twi's throne. He thought vpw had had a special connection to God- which HE now had as twi's Grand Poobah. All the draconian measures lcm took were because of various delusions vpw placed on him- a few of them accidentally. Worse, he was also the front-man (Read that "figurehead") when Donna and Rosalie wanted to do things and let him get the credit/ take the blame. When he got caught, they threw him under the bus, made it out as if they had NO IDEA he ever did wrong (even when they ARRANGED IT), and sent him away. In every other case, when a husband was kicked out of twi, the wife was kicked out as well. Donna remained comfortably ensconced at HQ because she and Rosalie made all the decisions and she wasn't going to kick herself out no matter how much of a double-standard that was. To this very day, I'm sure he has NO IDEA how badly he was played by all 3 people.

"Mother's Little Helper", complete with the late Charlie Watts on drums, backing up the rest of The Rolling Stones. (Someone suggested that they contact someone to see if he wants to be their next drummer- Ringo Starr.) -
Jeremy Irons AND Laurence Fishburne? That's Alfred AND Perry White, so that has to make this "BATMAN V SUPERMAN."

That's it. When you watch it for the first time, it's amazing how much story there is before we see the Bates Motel and the story takes an interesting turn.

"So, She says it's time she goes, But wanted to be sure I know She hopes we can be friends. I think. 'Yeah, I guess we can' say I. But didn't think to ask her why, she blocked her eyes and drew the curtains, with knots I've got yet to untie." "See, It was just too soon to tell, and looking for some parallel, can be an endless game. We, we said goodbye before hello. My secrets she will never know, and if I dig a hole to China, I'll catch the first junk to Soho." "Sometime from now you'll bow to pressure, some things in life you cannot measure by degrees. I'm between the Poles and the Equator. Don't send no private investigator to find me please, 'Less he speaks Chinese, And can dance like Astaire overseas. Okay." "What if I was. So, what if I was. Maybe she's just looking for someone to dance with."

"I'm in no mood for trouble." "What?" "There's an old saying, 'First customer of the day is always the trouble!' But like I say, I'm in no mood for it, so I'm gonna treat you so fair and square that you won't have one human reason to give me..." "Can I trade my car in and take another?" "Do anything you've a mind to. Bein' a woman, you will. That yours?" "Yes, it's just that - there's nothing wrong with it. I just..." "Sick of the sight of it! Well, why don't you have a look around here and see if there's somethin' that strikes your eyes, and meanwhile I'll have my mechanic give yours the once over. You want some coffee? I was just about..." "No, thank you. I'm in a hurry. I just want to make a change, and..." "One thing people never oughtta be when they're buyin' used cars, and that's in a hurry. But like I said, it's too nice a day to argue. I'll uh - shoot your car in the garage here." "No! I tell you no! I won't have you bringing some young girl in for supper! By candlelight, I suppose, in the cheap, erotic fashion of young men with cheap, erotic minds!" "Mother, please...!" "And then what? After supper? Music? Whispers?" "Mother, she's just a stranger. She's hungry, and it's raining out!" " 'Mother, she's just a stranger'! "As if men don't desire strangers! As if... ohh, I refuse to speak of disgusting things, because they disgust me! You understand, boy? Go on, go tell her she'll not be appeasing her ugly appetite with MY food... or my son! Or do I have tell her because you don't have the guts! Huh, boy? You have the guts, boy?" "Shut up! Shut up!" "No! I will not hide in the fruit cellar! Ha! You think I'm fruity, huh? I'm staying right here. This is my room and no one will drag me out of it, least of all my big, bold son!"

Starting with Fred Astaire, sung by Frank Sinatra.... -
"See, It was just too soon to tell, and looking for some parallel, can be an endless game. We, we said goodbye before hello. Next song. "Sometime from now you'll bow to pressure, some things in life you cannot measure by degrees. I'm between the Poles and the Equator. Don't send no private investigator to find me please, 'Less he speaks Chinese, And can dance like Astaire overseas. Okay."

That´s Prince and the New Power Generation doing ¨7¨. It´s a pretty good song, and worth a listen. The video is neat, also. Supposedly, it´s about a man who swears to vanquish the 7 guards separating him from his beloved. Since this is Prince, there´s a lot of stuff going on in the song while that´s happening.
-
By the lyrics as well, since substituting a letter or number for a word is a thing with songs Prince writes- which he usually records. (He also wrote Sinead OConnor's "Nothing Compares 2 U.")

You do realize, Human, that I was dropping a big clue to the title? -
Knowing the skill levels of people left in twi who haven't yet jumped ship, my guess is that it was some sort of odd mistake.
