  1. When is was at HQ, as recently as 2008, there were still rumors about the good ole' days. The days when signs, miracles, and wonders were everywhere. The days when Wierwille walked among his sheep. Wierwille was renowned, as well as Uncle Harry, for many healings. None of them were verifiable, but renowned none the less. Then there were the myriad excuses for why all of that supposedly ceased. Personally, I tried for over two years to use what was taught and NEVER got any of the results promised. No matter how excited I got, how much I believed, how much I tried, it all fell flat.
  2. Now, TWI took speculation to the n'th degree and called it research. Believing to live forever comes to mind. So does Eve having sex with the devil as the first sin of mankind. There are other fantasy island type beliefs held as proven ministry research. Though Eve and Lucifer's illicit love affair have been silently stripped out of the FNC. Do they believe it's wrong? They will neve admit it and we will never know.
  3. I speculate from time to time. But I have also developed the belief that if it was important to fellowship with God he would have included the information in his Word. Otherwise, we can speculate but will never know until it's revealed at a later date.
  4. So perhaps being cut off from the "tree of life" (whether literal or figurative) deprives cells of some life sustaining substance. The original superfood? I dunno, just a thought. Not to set off a doctrinal flame war or anything.
  5. That's certainly the line used by TWI throughout the years. TWI is the ONLY original, the rest are all counterfeits produced by the adversary. V2P2 may as well use it on them too, especially since he is using his grandpa's playbook. I have to say, I am still shocked Rosalie hasn't sued them yet. Time will tell how far they let SOWERS carry on w/o litigation.
  6. I know many of VP's grandchildren and one of his kids. I have to say they are well intentioned people and not the dirtball VPW was. Though, I had on of his grandchildren tell me the family knew he was not faithful to Mrs. Wierwille. I have no doubt little V2P2 means well, at least I would like to give him credit until I know otherwise. I will say that Victor Paul Wierwille (the original) is generally regarded as a great man of God by his family. He just had some shortcomings is all. I don't expect much from SOWERS. I expect they will fizzle out because no one is really buying TWI's brand of cultism any longer. The internet was the final marginalizing nail in their self imploding coffin.
  7. I saw, and experienced the same things both in-residence and especially being on staff. People would come in with degrees, professions, high level talents and abilities only to be assigned to housekeeping, grounds, or food services.
  8. Yes and yes. Once a week in the dining room, usually on Wednesday, T3d Ph1ll1p$ would come lead several corny songs. Rosalie got that ball going again many years ago after she usurped power. I would usually sit there and not sing and finish my food. The FNC and INT classes are extremely elementary, both in content and presentation. Personally, I find Rosalie's style of presentations dumbed down and insulting.
  9. Yep. Being a leader in TWI means taking orders to the letter and reporting back in great detail. When orders aren't readily available then enforce policy, follow the plan, parrot cliches, and make sure the plebes are in line. I wasn't cut out for that and had the brochure stated as much I would have ran away. Anyway, I digress.
  10. I appreciate the post. Very honest and heartfelt.
  11. That's a good question. I had assumed D0ug McMu11@n since they feature him so prominently in their pictures, but I don't really know. It's quite possible those charged with oversight are alligators. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. Predators charged with oversight was quite common back in the original version of TWI.
  12. Reminds me of other MLM schemes, such as MonaVie. The first Mona Vie meeting I went to there was an older guy who had a large KFC bucket full of various prescription pills he used to need until he started drinking Mona Vie.
  13. And that happened all over the place. Teachers would skip objectionable material that they did not believe and filibusterer as much of the session away as they could. Thus, they have to have a video class and just keep the way corps pushing play and stop on the DVD player. Good for you. You obviously taught them something besides TWI indoctrination.
  14. I think this is the reason they haven't sued. Especially considering their litigious past.
  15. Oh, silly waysider. Children are covered by their parent's believing.
  16. I've heard that crap before. Of course if you're waybrained then the cells crapping out are a result of your believing petering out. Life is spiritual.
  17. Yep - little Victoid is hard at it, resurrecting his grand pappy's legacy. I monitor them and it's second verse same as the first.
  18. That's what took some time for me to understand. By staying with them and "volunteering" my time and resources I was enabling them to do the same harm to others as they had done to me.
  19. Unless someone is actively causing major problems for them, they wouldn't know who you are. Now on the other hand, there are so few people at the service you will stand out as an outsider. They may approach you to see who you are. I really don't know what they do anymore in this regard but nothing along these lines would surprise me.
  20. I would just go. They have J0hn L1inder (or an equivalent) guarding the back door. Br00ks M@son used (and probably still does) function as plain clothes security and hangs outside of the actual auditorium. It used to be they were on the look out for certain active trouble makers. D0ug McMull1n used to be one, for example. Worst thing that could happen is they ask you to leave. Or maybe they go all Rodney King and you can get that on video. That would go nicely on GSC. And, yes they still have a church service with guards. Weird, no?
  21. Three words. No one in TWI would ever think there was something amiss with Rosalie and Donna. Really, outside of astute observers at HQ, few people know how close the two of them are. Very few people know that Donna has a very active hand in running TWI. She is at least Rosalie's sounding board, if not adviser. Heck I would venture that Donna is Rosalie's partner, though Rosalie likely has the final say when they disagree.
  22. Well, what's left of the staff are the ones required to go. The local fellowships are certainly coerced. But none of that is enough. Several years ago Rosalie and the gang started scheduling bus trips from folks who weren't too terribly far away. At most you may get three coaches come in from Atlanta. It was NEVER enough to fill the lower portions of the PWA, never. And the following week it was an empty house again. You are so right about the camera angles. They herd as many people as they can into the the middle rows so the house looks full for when they do a local broadcast. The broadcast is several weeks old, so it's not like it's live. But get this. In spite of how empty things are the director and trustee household still get reserved seats in the back of the auditorium.
