  1. I am not sure how you missed all the negative comparisons about how the way international had the "truth" that nobody else has known since the 1st century church. If that isn't saying the way is better than everyone else I don't know what is. Offshoots make similar big fat claims as well.
  2. Well, he's their "Father in the Word."
  3. ^^ You get a wayfer too far away from way speak and they will likely short circuit.
  4. Oh, I never give up a source publicly. I'll DM you. I didn't get it from their facebook pages....we aren't friends.
  5. Thanks for the doctrine, reproof, and correction to get me back on the word.
  6. Reynolds was a trustee when Craig was president. Why did he never operate the manifestations to avoid the Allen lawsuit and save the many victims from Martindale's sexual predations?
  7. His whole rant is just plain harsh. Complete lack of empathy, sympathy, no love whatsoever. Just railing on people because a tragedy happened that claimed innocent lives. I am sure John Reynolds would have been able to avert the tragedy. Oh wait, he hasn't left New Knoxville in years so all his spiritual prowess is tucked away in the corn fields of Shelby County/Auglaize counties.
  8. The whole thing comes off like regurgitated party line talking points used to sell the class and reads like it was written by an 18y/o.
  9. This was penned by none other than John Reynolds.
  10. Good point. Also, I am convinced that Lynn is really intent on being captain of his own 501 c3 non-profit corporation. So, he has his reward as far as that is concerned.
  11. My experiences with JAL was the man would not listen to anyone unless they agree with what he already thinks. It's sad really. He is a very intelligent person who I really believe means well. He is simply stuck in the Wierwille methodology/attitude and there is no jarring him out of that.
  12. Ya, it's in the book of John (Lynn) Which is really a copy of the V-pig texts.
  13. From Fruit of D'vine: Does anyone else find the emphasis on knowledge (and by inference, knowledge applied) so typically Wierwille? Lynn has his organization he promotes in the name of Jesus, then he expounds his version of absolute truth, then puts the reader on the end of a goad as he pontificates what Jesus will ask the now enlightened at the judgement seat of Christ. Of course JAL wants as many people as he can find to promote his group and donate their hard earned money. Oh, and we all know by now that he is on the lookout for rich people with lot's of money to give.
  14. That in itself is so revealing.
  15. Oh, now that justifies the sexual predator. Get them born again and then molest them. Yep - molest! That's exactly what the 50 something Wierwille did to the late teen and early twenty girls in his flock. But, hey, he got them born again.
  16. I suppose that VPW wouldn't have wanted educated masses at his feet. Too much critical thinking would have been a bad thing.
  17. I think this point is revealing. Instead of encouraging folks into career advancement, which would yield greater ABS for the way international, they discouraged it. Makes me wonder if Wierwille had a greater lust for power than he did for money. Instead of milking greater donations from percentages of advancing salaries, he opted to limit career advancement so he could control people and have them "serve" for the advancement of the organization. Of course perhaps that made him more money in the short term. Long term results have proven epic fail. But perhaps he was never really concerned about that.
  18. The most I have seen is random class pictures, some of them around 20 people or a little more. I have heard rumor TWI has 100,000 followers in Africa alone.
  19. Second verse same as the first. And they have a small following of youngsters. I only hope they don't reach the fountain of middle age only to realize they wasted their prime.
  20. They maintain a large following internationally, particularly from Africa. At least they claim that much anyways. I could see full fellowships overseas since they have no way of exerting their domineering, legalistic hand.
  21. Today they have setup a preservation society in honor of Wierwille. They don't care about numbers. Rosalie thinks they are doing just fine....the faithful are a remnant afterall. Brilliant....no?
  22. Yep, they can cry "Moving the word all they want" but in the end I think they hang on more for power and privilege than money. Not that the money is not at their disposal, but the directors really think they are the best of the best of the best, with honors.
  23. Ya, they may even have to build a second auditorium to hold everyone.
