I remember LCM in a teaching about you guessed it homos, and he said he would gladly kill all of them if he could. I was appalled at that statement, and have always wondered why he picked on them with such vehemance, was he a one time homo or thought he was or maybe molested by a pedophile or something....any thoughts anyone? I truely hate to say this but, God forgives us as he forgives VPW. Remember hate the sin not the sinner. I have openly voiced my dislike of VPW. And it took alot of my husbands teachings on the subject to finally swallow my pride and admit that he is right, so I have decided to forgive VPW (even tho he never asked me to). God I hate being wrong, thats one of many things I am guitly of. And I still hate what he did to my beautiful sisters in the word. Hi Steve S, We were sent to Jeanette PA. with Dan and Vicky as WOW's in 1980-810r maybe 81-82 I can't remember which year it was but we had a blast, Vicky was so much fun and we broke every wow rule in the book lol. Then after F9 we came back to Cali when Dan and Vicky were in Palm springs. Then they were given a new assignment. They were our branch coor. Again we had a ball, then they moved to Oxnard,Cali. We have kept in contact with them from time to time, but the last time I called Dan, he said that they were separated, what a bitch! I only hope that they get back together again. Also Steve, your name sounds very familiar too me, I wonder if we ever met. I was born in Brooklyn NY, but have lived in Cali since I was 5 years old. and in this house for 34 years. I think my favorite Dodger team was when Steve Garvey, Davy Lopes, Ron Sey, Dusty Baker, and the rest of those guys were playing. By the way anyone who knows me knows that my son is a real good catcher and closing pitcher. He was picked to play in the high school allstars for our area and played with Tracey's son bryan I think his name is and we got to see Jim Tracey and the rest of his family at some of the games, like when the Dodgers were playing home games. And what a nice kid he is, very quiet, and a little shy. But he and my son Bobby got along famously. Bobby is just the opposite, LOUDLY cheering his team mates and I mean so loud that he got a sore throat and lost his voice. lol He Bobby was the team captian and received an award for good sportsmanship, all around team player cuz they can put him anywhere and he is good, although he like's catching the best. My dream has always been for him to play for the Dodgers one day. Last year his travelling team, the Diamondbar Diamondbacks, played at the super series in Pheonix at the sports complex, spring training for the Padres and the Mariners. Rascal, I hear ya loud and clear. You had your own experiences, just as I and everyone else in here did. Some of us were abused mentally,sexually etc. and some only one or the other. But it WAS OUR experience. and we have every right to be mad as hell. I was mentally abused by leaders from branch all the way up to and including Loy. AND I TOOK IT. To be fair I also had some very loving leaders but by the mid 80's they were almost extinct. And even some of the good one's went bad, I think because they also were abused by thier leaders. I wanted to leave TWI 5 years before we actually did it, because I foolishly thought my husband would leave me if I left and he was/is such a good person I would rather take thier crap than loose my hubby. What I didn't know was that he was thinking the same thing but we failed to communicate it to each other. It took our son running away from home to escape BC's abuse to get us to the point to leave, especially they blamed us for his running away, and of course lock box had all but dissapered by then and everyone knew what happened the next day. well we decided the night of the inquisition (thats what I call it)when we were blamed for everything from ww1 to the presant, we left twi that night and went looking for our son so he could come back home and feel safe. I also was abused by a BC we once had, it was physical abuse, nothing to write home about but he grabbed my arm and shoved me up against the fridge and told me to sit down when I just went to get a drink of water to keep from coughing all night er session in our own house. My hubby never laid a hand on me and neither did my dad so I was ashamed thinking how bad I was to be manhandled. I never told anyone about this incident beaczuse I thought I had it coming for some reason? I finally told my hubby a couple of years ago and he said if I had told him when it happened we would have left immediatly. He and My son's were so mad that they didn't get the chance to deck this guy that it was by then almost laughable, but I now wish I would have spoken out, I would have loved to see that. LOL My mother-in-law has a neat way of dealing with junk mail. Not e-mail but stuff she gets in her mail that comes with a self addressed envelope. She tears thier message up and puts it in the envelope and sends it back to them. Dovey....proud owner of two low riders...Dovey's Doxies...... ]
