My stepmom sent me this in an email--(I cleaned up all the forwards to post it here). I didn't check anything out on Snopes, I just thought it was cute!

Number 28: according to Wikipedia (do I have too much time on my hands?) "Founder Paul Galvin came up with the name Motorola when his company started manufacturing car radios."

A number of 'music player' related companies had "ola" at the end of their name, they were going to make a radio for a car, motor-ola.

Number 26: according to Wikipedia: "Quicksand is not as dangerous as depicted in many movies.
