This is one of the most romantic Civil War movies of all times. It has to be Somersby with Jodie Foster & Richard Gere. Jodie & her husband didn't get along before he went away, but when "he" came back, not only they were totally in step with each other, but he also saved the town. But alas...
I could do it, as I havent been in for a long time, but as I did not give the answer, I will defer to the starter of this thread, since he seemd to be around a lot.
OK, but I hope I dont get lambasted for breaking the rules. I guess I'm just pinch running so I wont dig too deeply.
"Each man has his own reasons for living, Mr. Jones, and his own price for dying."
One of my favorite old flicks. Almost as old as I am. But I first saw it in junior high school in Columbus OH in 1962...they showed movies in sections over the span of a week during the last part of the lunch period.
Obviously, the Mr. Jones referred to is not Indiana.

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

No, neither a Sam Raimi flick nor a Bruce Campbell flick.
"You do speak French don't you?"
"Unfortunately no, but I do kiss that way."
"Do you gamble?"
"Every time I order out."
"Have you noticed anything different about him?"
"Well, only that he's a foot taller, and he seems to be left-handed now."
"I'm single! I love being single! I haven't had this much sex since I was a Boy Scout leader!
*room goes silent*
"I mean, at the time I was dating a lot."

Oh crum,
I know the comedic actor, but which movie...
...and if I named him, someone would surely guess the movie before me.

Technically "Naked Gun 2 1/2: the Smell of Fear", but yes, that's it.
You got it just before I posted the long quote about the boxers.
Your turn, Raf.
