This will take you back to 1974. A bit obscure, but was an awesome album for it's time.

By horse, by rail, by land, by sea, our journey starts

Two men incensed by one man's journey from the past

In Iceland, where the mountain stood with pride

They set off with their guide

To reach the mountain side

Ah, I can not answer, cause my husband knew first, but who always played in concert with him back in the day?

I don't believe there was any harmony... there...

Since you won't guess, I'll just post another section!

first (opening) "verse" (minus the last line which contains the name of the song):

They're selling postcards of the hanging

They're painting the passports brown

The beauty parlor is filled with sailors

The circus is in town

Here comes the blind commissioner

They've got him in a trance

One hand is tied to the tight-rope walker

The other is in his pants

And the riot squad they're restless

They need somewhere to go

As Lady and I look out tonight

On...

OK... as I said before, this is one of the most prolific writers of "our" generation...

Many of his songs have been sung by other artists, other artists that have had BIG hits with his songs...

...and he has gained acclaim as a performer as well.

Here is the first 'stanza' of the song:

Everybody I talk to is ready to leave

With the light of the morning

They've seen the end coming down long enough to believe

That they've heard their last warning

Standing alone

Each has his own ticket in his hand

And as the evening descends

I sit thinking 'bout [........]

This (posted before) is the last 'stanza':

I'm not trying to tell you that i've seen the plan

Turn and walk away if you think i am--

But don't think too badly of one who's left holding sand

He's just another dreamer, dreaming 'bout [........]
