The Amazing Grace Bakery & Music Cafe has a series of internationally known musicians scheduled for the upcoming weeks. The Cafe is a venue with a living room feeling where people can enjoy fine musicians up close. Bakery owner Chip Stewart says, "The cold days of the Duluth winter are perfect for hanging out with friends and listening to great music." When Stewart says "great" he means "Great".

This British guitarist is a truly unique musician who is no stranger to the Amazing Grace stage. Each of his concerts has ended with a standing ovation and an appeal for him to return. Once again Adrian Legg has obliged. Using instruments that he has designed for his unusual cross-over electric-acoustic style he is a one-of-a-kind musician.
Guitar Magazine writer Richard Chapman says that Legg is “impossible to categorize as a player... Legg incorporates virtually every genre. "The "Guitarist of the Decade" of Guitarist Magazine, and selected by Guitar Player Magazine's reader poll as the Best Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitarist each year from 1993 through 1996, he has a discography that includes 13 CD's as well as some teaching manuals and videos. On Sunday February 11th at 7:30 pm, the internationally renowned guitar wizard will perform at .The Amazing Grace Bakery and Music Cafe, 394 Lake Avenue South in Canal Park, Duluth MN. Tickets are $18. Reservations can be made at the Bakery or by calling (218) 723-0075.
Of course I am. Amazing Grace is an incredibly small venue though.
It's tough to fit 100 people in there.
I might have to camp out overnight. ;)
Wait a minute -- this is going to be held in February.
Scratch the camping out! :D
The only thing I camped out to see was actually in very cold weather and that was to see The Godfather in Philly when it first showed. And it was worth it. :)

Loved that Eric Mongrain Stuff... coolness.... Makes me want to be at the Montreal Jazz Festival RIGHT NOW!!! And that Tommy Emmanuel is no slouch himself!

YES .. I have Mr. Music Man.
I have some of his music and some of his tapes given to me by a friend.
The tape is Mrs. Crowe's Blue Waltz and I know I have other stuff... maybe some guitar picking books.

Ahhhhhh -- Leo!!! Haven't heard him live for years now.
He used to come here a lot back a decade or so ago..
He's played the Amazing Grace as well.
I LOVE his goofing around on the guitar while spinning some story,
that has something to do with the song he's about to play.
I like his finger picking better than his slide work,
but that's me. :)
