I thank all concerned parties for helping me cope with this kind of situation. I will not take it to heart any longer. I am rubber and they are glue... :) I know my heart and my capacity to love and I won't let my joy and peace be eclipsed by their immature and vindictive nature. I wish no evil will and in time they may sense my patience and compassion. Yes, I sometimes (maybe often) speak openly against the Bible but I do it with a desire to know the truth and not just believe it because someone else says so. I have no fear in putting God to the test... I am tired of the divisive nature of many of the scriptures (three religions killing each other for many centuries) and these people just prove my point about the dangers of how the orthodoxy has radicalized their minds. I don't often check my account setting here but today I did and noticed that two people have voted my post down. Why didn't they just spit in my face? A man profiteth little in his own country. I like conversing here and I even love my enemies... but again I think it is caused by the male dominated, hate the gay guy homophobia, that caused me to reject "the way" in the first place. I guess these homophobes expect me to just believe everything they say while they claim to deny blind faith. I have close to twenty thousand friends on other forums, and a group I created myself with eight thousand loving members from nearly every country in the world.... And they added themselves as friends AND joined my group... I think I know who voted me down too, but I refuse to think evil or retaliate in the same petty way.... I am a better man. I know my ideas are often fanciful, sometime unorthodox and even bordering on heretical but I am not vindictive, just sometimes verbally opinionated. I posted this in the doctrinal topic because that is the subject I usually post in anyway. If anyone cares about me even as just a human being please try and reverse these attacks on my character and vote me up to at least zero. I don't want to leave this world hated...

It must have upset the master Con Man when he found he had cancer in his eye. Talk about kharmic effect. "If you keep doing that you're going to go blind" being a standard cliché for any sexual sin and cancer (which he taught to be caused by devil spirits) being Wierwille's actual cause of death. But we hear what the Way's carnival barkers all told us, "It cost the MOG his eye...." as though there was no cancer involved. The story was, how "The bright lights from filming the original PFAL Class caused irreparable damage to his eye,...." and then they would add,..... "What has the Word of God cost you?" The real question is - What will you provide our Jesus? Some sex, your money, some free labor? will you give enough to ensure the MOGs HOGs and Mini-MOGs and Mini-HOGs can lazily live off of you like leaches? The believe that is their right, yanno? This food chain gets hungrier as you get closer to the HOGFODAT, even when it's not hungry, it wants to eat. Can't sign up enough new people for WAP, yanno. Why are adults not signing up for the Advanced Class? why? Well send your children then, no matter how young. At the very BOTTOM LINE,.... The Way wants to be ~ FED ~

These would be in the silent dissenters group, however, and recognize that there IS somewhere ''OUT THERE" they could go. Now, they have a choice to make. Unfortunately, sometimes that choice is too high a price (to them) to take a stand. They will reap with bitterness the sting of their choice to stay. The cost to their soul, the mental health of themselves and family, and the empty chasm engulfed between them and God, is a very high price indeed.

I would not worry either. I have not posted here for two weeks, barely looked at the board..... and someone voted 20 or so of mine down just the other day. Which means they had to go back further than two weeks to find them. I just look at the last people who look at my profile. I would give you a plus mark, but I used up all of mine fixing all of Mstar's negatives in the MUSIC thread, because someone voted a bunch of his down. In the MUSIC thread??? Subjective taste....music???? Sunesis is right...who cares....there is an ebb and flow here. When pluses are given for one word answers....snide remarks....or naming people.....you know it is not for the merit of the post anyway. When I can.....I will plus you.....very much!

This reminds me of a quote from PFAL - "just when I needed the power, it wasn't there". Which just so happens to aptly describe TWI nowadays. There are no signs, miracles, wonders. They've long gone with the active movement of the spirit of God. There is no new revelation. There is just a shell, with a few people hanging on to dull denominational - like traditions, political aspirations, and hard-hearted behavior like described above. The ego involved in that is substantial and telling. "he has healed many folks over the years". For an individual to claim that, "I have healed many folks over the years" is taking the glory which is supposed to be placed upon God Himself, and transferring it to a man. No, idiot, if you have been privileged to be a part of ministering healing, it is God that heals. It is God that is the focus of the center of attention, not your egotistical dumb @$$. The trials that each of us face in life are not so easily waved away with a magic wand. The struggle in life builds character. I don't know, maybe we're meant to learn that. I'm not attributing evil to God or anything, it's just that TWI's practices of saying healing is due to "a person's believing or not" is complete bull$h1t. God wouldn't heal anyone involving a jack@$$ like that for any reason whatsoever. Who would get the credit? God? Or the man? I'm sure you guys are seeing the healing by leaving that BS organization, taking the initiative to get excellent medical care, and setting up a loving environment to raise a child, not under the thumb of little Napoleans like that.

So what? I don't think Paul's intent was to have anyone turn towards him. Only to hear him out, I would suppose, and not some sort of following as indicated. Furthering my questioning of the reliability of the books of Timothy, or certainly their translations.

Here's a little hint on how that one works. "Error in judgement" - that's the kind of error your leadership makes, even if it breaks the law. "Error in heart" - that's the kind of error you make, because your heart is not following your leader closely enough.
