Perhaps it depends on the nature of the "sin". A brother, otherwise nice guy.. steps on my toes.. no big deal. But, I don't see any biblical basis to forgive a false prophet or false minister for anything. Or a "whoremonger".. "unclean".. etc, etc.. I think their forgiveness depends on something a lot bigger than me.

WTH's little walk in the park here really does show what the appeal to holocaust denial really is.. in the face of evidence.. warehouses of shoes, the nazi's saved from the victims.. tons of HAIR.. I guess the nazi's needed to make something out of it.. clothes.. eye witnesses.. which sadly, are all dying off.. documentation of medical "experiments".. and a person can have the one little "truth" that somehow the whole rest of the known world has been "deceived".. must make a person pretty important, eh? kinda like loy's inside "revelation" about the last pope coming to the new world to start another inquisition..

That is not a bad thing in itself. Same for me in a lot of ways.. I don't want to fill that little void with something that I DON'T want.. :) One of the pseudo bigwigs in der vey asked me after I left.. "whatcha gonna DO? where ya gonna go (for fellowship)??" I should have pulled out the Bret Butler answer at the moment..

Naw.. haven't done a single one on the list. I like the coffee one though.. What I have done.. almost every garage sale I go to, I find the person in charge, and I just HAVE to ask.. "where are your garages?"

I don't look for the same feeling or friendship.. mainly because I think the level of friendship I thought I had was a carefully crafted illusion, some on my part, to begin with. I don't know if people are even capable of setting aside their baser instincts to have that kind of intimacy with someone who is a complete stranger or outsider. It's hard enough for even blood relatives to do so..

Now if it was me, I'd agree. The real truth of the matter, at least here.. I think somebody's looking for their next laugh.. Sometimes I think if that's all I can contribuite, it's worth it..

Some people have a nice "reality".. a world where one group of people can't be doggone evil enough to slaughter another group based only on their genetic or ethnic heritage.. too bad the facts indicate otherwise. Practically decade after decade..

true, but being contrite would certainly help, even perhaps remove the "stumbling block" one has placed before the one who supposedly refuses to forgive..

I know.. it wasn't me but..a lot of the time, I don't get mine either. sheesh.. looks like more than bleeding. I would call it a boobectomy.. :)

I still think the jackass makes a better comparison for the old vicmeister. In the unlikely event the Lord opened his mouth.. spoke to somebody's "madness" here.. when he went home at the end of the day, he was not likely to still be giving dictation. Probably brayed like he did the day before..

I think people tend to get lost in the numbers. It's easy to look on a piece of paper.. "well, it wasn't ten or eleven, or quite six million.." What a lot of people can't grasp is.. the enormity of the holocaust is not unlike if a person packed up every man, woman, and child in Detroit, or L.A., and trained and bussed them off to certain death. Might take a little time, but if somebody was motivated enough, and had sufficient cooperation, it could actually be done. Still done even in modern times.. look at Haiti, Kosovo..

Hmm. I remember how he trashed John Lennon at a spayshull.. interesting how all the descriptions he hung on Lennon fit loy equally as well.

I know.. people don't have to put up with it or anything.. but below the line of arrogance, all I can see is a real low self esteem.

More adventures.. :) Some cats go by more than one name, have more than one "owner" (as if you can own a cat..). If the cat has anything to do with it, the "owners" will never meet.. "well, look who came home.. Charlie! Here.. have some tuna.." "Hey.. where've you been for two weeks Jose? Here.. have some sardines.." Makes me wonder.. who really are the pets, and who's the owner..

All the while, praying that we were in old testament times.. because there were "those among us who would willingly execute you".. Their words, not mine.. What gives such an appeal to even supposedly educated people to deny the holocaust, and even newer events.. Milosevic.. others.. "well, we were just cleaning up the race-bank.." Some just adore the "good" professor.. skin heads just love the guy.. along with others who need some kind of drama in life to justify their mundane existence.. maybe it's more "fun" to rule in hell..

sometimes people find they are just ....ing in their own bowl.. at the end of the day, a person isn't exactly alone.. there's always the guy in the mirror..

Well that's neat.. and you and your wife will be in your primes together in another two years, then eleven years. :)
