I understand all of this nice "let's get along in the world" kinda thing.. and I suppose the good President wants to open some dialogue.. but what's the point if it's "dialog" that can only be described as one group at another's throat.. where one person's "grievance" is the fact of the mere existence of the other party.. doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense, at least to me.. what's the guy gonna do.. get behind the podium.. recite some poetry, "how shall I exterminate thee, let me count the ways.." ?

Maybe they want the same kind of worship and adoration that herr vicmeister managed to rustle up.. I think a lot of us worshipped a friggin devil.. covered himself in a wardrobe of light.. "borrowed" from somebody who didn't need it or something..
-
I dunno.. I think it's a lot like the advice some give.. "just get over it.." does a person, really? I think a person can learn from it, provided they lived through it to begin with.. I have seen some interviews with people who lived through savage attacks from bears, sharks.. the most closure I've seen people experience is to just understand the nature of the predator.. that it wasn't their fault.. that the animal was simply behaving like those of it's kind have done for a millennium. The bible does call "them" brute beasts..

That's actually part of my point.. why would a person try to stand in the Lord's place, and try to forgive some of these scumbags for something that the Lord himself has a real issue with? If He relegates these false prophets and such to "eternal" fire.. if you believe the bible literally.. or even if you soften it as a figure or something.. "a real, real bad trip".. or something equivalent.. How could I do better? I may mouth the words "I forgive".. but do I really? Or do I look at their real nature, and simply recognize and accept it for what it really is?

"some of us" fight our insanity through life.. others of us have learned to embrace it.. -

*Last call for babies, last call for babies.* *exit the water immediately, or you are responsible for your own consequences* *last call for babies..* -
No horse.. Well, what the horse. Well, I guess the horse must never have been there. Maybe there is no such a thing as a horse. hmm.. "hey fella.. yeah you. wanna buy a barn, cheap? Don't remember exactly what it is for.. I'll even toss in a few oats. Can't have a barn without oats.."

I dunno. If after exaustive examination, trolling with a fleet of the Navy's finest, a thirty day search by air, and a meticulous sekular search under every underwater rock, maybe there isn't a baby under the murky depths that one previously thought.. -
A typical denier's response would be: "Let's let the Professor's goon subject the original to 'forensic' analysis.." Then, there wouldn't even BE any film left. "well then, didn't happen.."

Well.. if there is a change of guard, innies will probably find out about it here first.. Staffers.. if you think rosie's loins are thick, wait till the next generation has a crack at you..

Ya know Socks.. some people might be into that kind of thing.. I have forgiven some "brethren" for some pretty dispicable things. But.. how many times do you let the same coyote raid the hen house? His very nature DEMANDS that he consume poultry, if other suitable food isn't on the menu at the time.. maybe the particular poultry is a lot more easy to come by than their more physically fit cousins.. Even with "I'm sorry to have hurt your feelins".. let alone hurt your "flock", nothing's changed. If I was the farmer, he'd probably meet up with the wrong end of a ten gague the second time. Then I'd probably pray for his soul or something.. A false prophet, a false minister, by his or her very nature, will simply endeavor to deceive and rape the flock, figuratively or literally, whether sorry or not, whether "forgiven" or not. I think they are mindless about it, they don't think they did anything wrong. Sometimes it may not be in one's power to sincerely offer forgiveness..
-
Perhaps it depends on the nature of the "sin". A brother, otherwise nice guy.. steps on my toes.. no big deal. But, I don't see any biblical basis to forgive a false prophet or false minister for anything. Or a "whoremonger".. "unclean".. etc, etc.. I think their forgiveness depends on something a lot bigger than me.

maybe he doesn't sow.. but looks like it didn't stop him from reaping.. :)

WTH's little walk in the park here really does show what the appeal to holocaust denial really is.. in the face of evidence.. warehouses of shoes, the nazi's saved from the victims.. tons of HAIR.. I guess the nazi's needed to make something out of it.. clothes.. eye witnesses.. which sadly, are all dying off.. documentation of medical "experiments".. and a person can have the one little "truth" that somehow the whole rest of the known world has been "deceived".. must make a person pretty important, eh? kinda like loy's inside "revelation" about the last pope coming to the new world to start another inquisition..

That is not a bad thing in itself. Same for me in a lot of ways.. I don't want to fill that little void with something that I DON'T want.. :) One of the pseudo bigwigs in der vey asked me after I left.. "whatcha gonna DO? where ya gonna go (for fellowship)??" I should have pulled out the Bret Butler answer at the moment..

There was a sixth one, known only to the inner chosen.. "believing" so loud, as to keep the wolves awake..

Yo ho ho and a bottle of Cabernet (I don't like rum)

Naw.. haven't done a single one on the list. I like the coffee one though.. What I have done.. almost every garage sale I go to, I find the person in charge, and I just HAVE to ask.. "where are your garages?"

I don't look for the same feeling or friendship.. mainly because I think the level of friendship I thought I had was a carefully crafted illusion, some on my part, to begin with. I don't know if people are even capable of setting aside their baser instincts to have that kind of intimacy with someone who is a complete stranger or outsider. It's hard enough for even blood relatives to do so..

"I'm high alright, but not on false drugs.."

Now if it was me, I'd agree. The real truth of the matter, at least here.. I think somebody's looking for their next laugh.. Sometimes I think if that's all I can contribuite, it's worth it..

Hmm. So.. where is "brother" gear this evening.. hmmmm. Maybe.. he's busy at Wally mart, searching every aisle for an affordable round tuit. The video crew explained they'd help with the filming of his new, updated better than better and improved pfal, when they got a round tuit..

Some people have a nice "reality".. a world where one group of people can't be doggone evil enough to slaughter another group based only on their genetic or ethnic heritage.. too bad the facts indicate otherwise. Practically decade after decade..
