Like Goey...I stand on my own two feet, and I still stand on what I have said about Todd and Clay. The quick to anger thing (among others)sets off my alarm bells. I saw and heard similar stuff when I went to a ' Church of the Golden Light Rod' meeting. It sounded nice and 'spiritual' to begin with but ended with questions asked of the audience (I still have the pamphlet somewhere, I use it in teaching an advance class). Such questions as... Does mankind really need a 'savior' ? How much better off would we have been if Jesus had never been crucified ? Is there reallllyyyy such a thing as 'sin' ? etc.. maybe you get the 'gist' of what they were pushing. It just makes me VERY wary of what is propounded out there in the name of 'greater understanding'. COGLR IS A SPIRITUALIST CHURCH ....I might google and see if they have a website.

When I'm working on something- usually ! I don't consider myself as someone who has instant suspicion of people, but Clays 'grandstanding' sure reminds me of someone (apart from myself of course). and just as well they flew him to N.Z. for the op..go into hospital in Fiji and you often come out worse ! they tried to get a needle into my arm once over there due to an infection from a coral cut. The needle was the diameter of a drinking straw. Then a 'senior nurse' came up and scolded the junior nurse for trying to use an 'ear syringing' needle on me !! My arm was 'black and blue' for about 2 weeks.

I agree with the second part of Lornas' post about the blessings of abs, but disagree with her first part about the apologies. IMO, what went on (and still is) is 'spiritual'. It is a 'spiritual problem' they had/have, so without any 'godly repentance' which I believe is much more than an " I'm sorry" statement , it is nothing less than another 'sham'. You and I and they know when there is real 'godly sorrow unto repentance'. How about a bit of 'tears' and 'hand-wringing' and yeah..even a bit of sackcloth and ashes and I might begin to believe them.
