If they still have The House of His Healing Presence in storage somewhere, they could reconstruct it and turn it into a BBQ smoke shack. That's where Wierwille got his pork pulled.

Have you ever driven down a rural road and thought to yourself, "Ten years from now there'll probably be a set of golden arches right there where that stately old oak tree now stands."? So, what do you think will become of HQ? Maybe the fountain will serve as a kiddie wading pool? Wishing fountain? Pay to fish? Do-it-yourself flea dip for fido? What about the auditorium? Saturday morning flea market? Party-barn/bowling alley? Arena for big-time wrestling matches? IMAX theater for adult movie productions?

Stumped -
Just guessing here. It bears some of the characteristics of a John Lennon tune.

Oh, Spirit was a HUGE favorite of mine long before I heard of The Way. Especially the first 3 albums. Whenever I listen to one of their tunes I can usually remember what song came after it on that particular album. Of course, after I took PLAF (The Wonder Class) I was told I could no longer listen to them if I didn't want to be spiritually corrupted. (Ditto on the first 3 King Crimson albums.) One more King Crimson edit: This stuff is headphone music.

What??? A baby with a Master's degree? Preposterous! :P

Compare VP and BG? OK, here's one for starters. The story about VP preaching to the trees as a young man was actually "lifted" from BG. To be fair, though, I think it was Uncle (He wasn't MY uncle.) Harry who told the story.

Wierwille "borrowed" whatever and whenever it hit his fancy. Sometimes it was a phrase. Sometimes it was a sentence. Sometimes it was whole paragraphs and chapters of books. I don't think he really ever gave much thought to being found out. We were conned by a shyster. That's the bottom line.

It's only love and that is all-------Why should I feel the way I do?

IT'S ALL THE SAME Someone here will try and waste your time And someone there will try and lead you blind Life seems to be wandering 'round and 'round Searching for the that which can be found It's you, you, you, it's me, me, me It's you and me, babe, we're all the same And if you ever ask me if it's real I couldn't tell you more than what you feel You learn to read and write and spell your name And find out in the end, it's all the same It's you, you, you, it's me, me, me It's you and me, babe, we're all the same Someone here will try and waste your time And someone there will try and lead you blind Life seems to be wandering 'round and 'round Searching for the that which can be found It's you, you, you, it's me, me, me Well, it's you and me, babe, we're all the same It's all the same, it's all the same It's all the same, it's all the same It's all the same, it's all the same It's all the same, it's all the same Aren't You Glad? How long has man been on earth?

Wouldn't that make scholastic studies of the scriptures pointless? -

The records in Genesis can't possibly be 100% literal. So, the real dilemma, as I see it, is in deciding exactly where to draw the line between literalism and allegory. -
I just now looked at some stuff on FB. Geeze!! There are STILL people out there who think they were sitting at the feet of great sages and learning profound truths. To each his own, I 'spose. :o
