  1. Yes. I personally think this is the point in time when The Stones were at their peak. (Before the unfortunate demise of Brian Jones, the heart and soul of the original group) BTW----That's Nicky Hopkins on piano and Brian Jones on mellotron.
  2. Jack is smokin' on what sounds like a Musselwhite tune!!
  3. The word you're hearing is not "Angel" but you're on the right track.

  7. Every time I think that I'm the only one who's lonely someone calls on me.

  15. In her book, Losing The Way, Kristen S. talks about that sensation of awakening. I highly recommend the book for any of you new arrivals. If you are not familiar with it, refer to THIS.
  16. FB pics of FLO 3/4 and FLO 4/5 (Several are missing from these photos, such as Mr. G.---must have been on MANNA duty or something.) http://www.facebook.com/?sk=ff#!/group.php?gid=151630384847945
  17. Reminds me of the plot to one of those old Mickey Rooney/Judy Garland movies. "Hey, kids! Let's put on a stage show in the barn and win the war!"
  18. "I think somebody better put out the big light, cause I can't stand to see you this way. Alison, I know this world is killing you. Oh, Alison, my aim is true ..."
  19. ---and that can be a good thing in snow prone areas where added weight helps with traction.
  20. Now wait a minute! I'm starting to think that maybe we die when we START believing. Yeah. Remember that old song we used to sing? "Believing's the key to Heaven."
  21. Wierwille died because he stopped breathing.
  22. It's just an old country saying. VPP used it to promote his "aw shucks" country boy image.
