  1. I don't subscribe to all the spirit mumbo-jumbo anymore. As I recall, though, a familiar spirit is supposed to be a sort of surveillance spirit. In other words, they sneak around and secretly gather information that they expose at opportunistic moments..... like a spiritual phone tap
  2. Yeah, now it's coming back to me. We used to have to drive to the Limb HQ to pick-up/drop-off. It was only a 300 mile round trip. Good thing they reimbursed us for gas. HaHaHaHaHaHa!
  3. It's been so long now that I don't remember. When we ran classes, did we pay some sort of rental or usage fee for the tapes and charts?

  5. Yes. He called it the Word Over the World Ambassadors program.
  6. At one time, PFAL was 13 sessions. The 13th session was optional and concerned itself with "speaking in tongues with interpretation" and "prophesy". This session was later removed and replaced with the Intermediate Class, which covered the same basic materials in an expanded form. (ie: excellor sessions) Also included in the 13th session was a teaching on "The Unforgivable Sin", which is a subject that is addressed in the Advanced Class. As far as I know, the other materials covered in the Advanced Class were never part of the basic PFAL format.
  7. Maybe his mind is the uncomely part?

  12. See how easy life can be if you subscribe to dispensationalism? You can simply ignore those sections of the gospels that deal with what we would call "premarital sex". Not addressed to us and all that jazz. How much more convenient can it get?
  13. Actually, I like the song. I was just commenting on the irony. (in my usual, twisted way) :)
  14. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! (Sorry for stealing your line, excie.)

  16. Well, you're probably familiar with the old expression-----"Something" flows downhill.
  17. The excuse I hated the most: "You do want them to get blessed, now, don't you?"
  18. I would remind them to rinse the mung bean sprouts frequently to avoid mold build-up.
  19. Oh, I don't think our academic curriculum was tough. Truth be told, it was disappointingly anemic. That's always been one of the things that has irritated me about it. We were told we would be doing an in-depth study of Acts. Instead, we lived in a stinkin' commune and learned how to make our own mayonnaise and Mung Bean sprouts..... two skills not likely to have been coveted in the first century church.
  20. Soooooo-----I guess the lyrics really WERE rather mundane----or at least ABOUT something mundane---(ie: It's Just Another Day)
