Yes every now and then I remember VP teaching about the New Bremen ? newspaper premises and how VP had been there and noticed a lot of untidiness and rubbish laying around. His point was that nothing good comes out of an unclean and untidy workplace or residence ! I think it was his response to an unflattering article about TWI.I realized later of course that even meticulously kept places can still promote filth. We left the Family Corps because we were turned off by the adultery happening there between in-resident corps....yes, blind eye turned to it.

Oh yeah, I'm hearing ya ! when we told our campus co-ord we were leaving we got the whole "you guys were going to be the first to be given a scholarship sponsorship for your second year in-res." scenario...nah it's o.k. we're outa here..."well if you open your mouths about things you've seen, I'll personally throw you off the third floor landing"...yeah, cool, goodbye lol

Then at a recent family gathering ( I wasn't there ) sister-in-law ( the one who wrote the nasty letters )came up to wife and said "wouldn't it be nice if we could all be pleasant to one another"...no apologies, no gee I'm sorry for what we've said and done to you guys...I think they're pretty screwed in the head to be honest, the whole, if not double minded, then double faced or masked, has affected many of them...unstable

Anyways, getting back to TWI bullying....yeah, apparently the women in our local region area were directed to scream out 'rapist' if I approached any of them to talk about the goings on in the organization lol. Also had 2 of their goons ( one was bro-in-law ) turn up on doorstep to beat me up. Again, all on the premise I would 'spill the beans' to their people about goings on in the corps. We had bro-in-law calling home phone to persuade my wife and kids to leave me. Letters written stating our kids would turn out homo because we walked away etc...For an outfit teaching 'no fear' they sure harbor lots of it

Don't forget you weren't allowed to get 'preggies' whilst in residence corps training either...saw that one broken a couple of times lol

yep, good old fashioned 'let's make the most of a bad situation'...and you know something ? In the 30 odd years I knew him, he hardly ever talked about it, never praised himself for doing what needed to be done and never once bad mouthed his parents.

thankyou Waysider ! My father-law was a tough old bast*&d. Both parents left when he was a teen and he helped his 17, yes 17, siblings stick together and survive in the pacific islands, no mean feat !! His inner man speaks volumes of his character :D

So anyways, my wife just attended her fathers funeral at which her brother, sister-in-law ( innies ), their country co-ord and a couple of other minions were present. Wifes other older brother who has been out/delivered for years, was invited/enticed to attend their sunday fellowship before flying home. He was talking afterwards to my wife and said the whole time there he felt...he was searching for the right word...my wife answered,'oppressed' ?. He said, "THAT'S the word" !! Nothing changes....then he mentioned that brother - in-law ( his brother ) is writing a book to present to the trustees detailing EVERYTHING that is wrong with 'the ministry' hahahahahahahahahahaha...this coming from a handful of the worst offenders when it comes to legalistic hard heartedness and abusers of God's people...oh the 'games people play lol. I agree entirely Chockful....I'm just saying that romans 10:9,10 Christianity is a lot more palpable to a lot more people when it's done in an auditorium or outdoor arena than behind the walls of a broken brick facade building with outdated decor :)
