  1. I'll put in a reply to that David even though it wasn't addressed to me.."what can be learnt from pfal that isn't already in the Word ?" My, my..everything that you and I and everyone else didn't know before pfal came along !!
  2. Alfakat, you're about 3 posts short of a discussion forum. Evan..apology accepted, that was some pretty bad news. I occasionally go through material from Kenneth Copeland, Chris Pringle (who I really admire as a man of God) and many others and honestly have not found anything I would refer to as having a 'wow factor' compared to what VP presented.
  3. Come on Danny..now you sound like your friend Mike..all of a sudden you're too tired to post and I wouldn't believe what you post etc... I just asked you to post a couple of these mind blowing things you've learnt outside of twi. I don't need to state what 'midblowing' things I have discovered because as I have said before pfal did it all for me. And no I don't believe way mags or pfal was 'God breathed' and no I didn't mean any disrespect to Mike as to what I said above, I just turned your comments about Mike back onto you.
  4. Myself and family are continuing where we left off with twi.Living, moving, teaching Gods' Word. Establishing a ministry is THE hardest thing we ever did and wouldn't take it on again with any kind of willingness. What makes it worthwhile is the awesome bunch of people we get to surround ourselves with, many of whom have come from 'backslidden' and 'inactive' ...Mormon term... backgrounds. The Word we have held onto 'turns them on again' when they hear it and get to experience it. Our worship band are mostly self taught, we encourage lifting of hands in service, it's great to hear shouts of amens and hallelujahs, life is great. As for the question of checking out other churches and doctrines, Selina and I did all that when we left twi but there was nothing that did anything for us and as I said before, most of the people involved in our church have come from various denominational backgrounds.
  5. Hi Danny..Oldies posted a pretty comprehensive list of pfal topics. Can you post even half a dozen of these exciting mindblowing dicoveries that you have found ?? I'm not being fasecious..sp..? just curious.
  6. Well said Raf..maybe a better way for me to state what I believe would be to say " I believe that pfal is up there as one of the best of all the flawed works."
  7. If some of you care to read what I posted a bit slower you might see that I take exception to Mark calling what I still believe much of , 'perverted'. If a number of you don't believe what was taught, fine. My main point was that someone who believes that Mary is the 'queen of heaven',and the 'mother of God', Jesus is God, the dead are alive now, the pope is 'infallible', contaception is wrong etc.. etc.. shouldn't be too quick in calling other peoples beliefs 'perverted'. Where I come from thats called 'hypocritical'.
  8. Rascal and I don't agree often but....yep, a lesbo is at the helm of twi. Such a shame, but as I said before the apples on that tree don't fall very far from the tree. With the new guy running the intl. leadership training program after the trail of destruction and marriage bust-ups that he has left behind let alone his pattern of serial lying if I still cared for the place I would be in DEEP despair.

    Sodomy

I thought submariners had to keep 'both' hands' on the wheel at all times ??
  10. I think that Mark O'Malley your comment about twi presenting a perverted image of God etc.. is pretty 'rich' don't you think coming from one who praises catholicism and its' beliefs ! Careful of those stones you're holding in your hand unless you plan on stepping out of that glasshouse.

    Sodomy

I guess if you're a male warthog thats not a nice option ! But then again, some girls I knew in my early adolescent years as a desperate young man...
  12. The 'tithes and offerings' were just an offering of an explanation Raf. There could be a number of other reasons as well, eg..attention to detail, real assimilation of Gods' Word etc..( but then the JW's are 'right' into the Word ) anyway. Interesting exercize. I think you could be right with the 'power of positive thinking', not being awful but the RC's and JW's aren't exactly the most positive, vivacious, inspirational bunch are they. Both groups do believe that sickness is from God etc..and it's all Gods' will.
  13. The prayer side of twi was left up to the individual, after all, for the most part it is a personal thing. However there was the 'house of His healing presence', 24 hour prayer sessions etc.. And as someone said awhile back...twi's record of deaths and tragedies, accidents etc..(per head of population) compared to many other churches was very, very low. I'll have to try to find the article because I can't remember how the calculations were done. I do remember the RC's came out right out on top, followed closely by the JW's. Surprisingly the Mormons were way down the bottom with twi. ( Remember..this was 'per head of population' comparison ) Maybe it does have something to do with tithes and offerings ??
  14. And as I said before Mic**l Ada**s is as nasty and adulterous as they come, along with my bro-in-law Se*n Stric**an* Things changing at H.Q. ? believe me..they just got worse..

    Sodomy

Does this mean the animal kingdom is more intelligent than us humans after all ??!!
  16. Hi Garth..then one would have to begin to ponder on what heaven contains and how it functions and how God has set it up (and I think that would be quite an egotistical and foolish thing to do ) To be honest I think much of what happened here on earth by many will be lost in insignificance really when suddenly faced with eternity, paradise, eternal health and joy etc..
  17. Hey excathedra..I thought I had the handle on getting up peoples noses, don't you try to take over my job ! Is it the cold over there at the moment or what, I see even Belle has been 'moderated' and 'deleted' on another thread !
  18. It probably depended who was in charge at the root locales. We never got any of that stuff at Indiana campus whilst Wayne Clapp was running it. We had to learn the 'red thread' to be allowed to go on Christmas hols but that was never enforced !!
  19. My my..so then even the Kenneth Copelands and Joyce Meyers and that dude that looks like a fat black version of Butterbean are 'plagiarists' seeing as most of their stuff comes from Billy Braham, Oral Roberts etc.. ??!! And they don't often refer to their 'sources' either ! Come on people..give some credit where credit is due, most of you haven't thrown away even half of what you learnt because of Vic. And don't give me any of that rubbish about a lot of 'it' being out there in other churches..it isn't, o.k.
  20. Well said Mike.Even the companion Bible the Way produced has Bullingers name all over it. I think mastering pfal is of great benefit to anyone who ever wondered about the Bible 'fitting together." Why LCM didn't just 'improve' on it all is beyond me.( Guess he really was just an Okie from the Skokie) whatever that means !!!!!

    Plasma or LCD

Isn't it ironic by the time most of us can afford a big hi-definition plasma t.v. our eyes can no longer appreciate it !! " It's like raaaain on your wedding day..."
  22. Hi Belle..From what I have read the fragments of the dead sea scrolls found do corroborate what is already in the Bible ! Also taking into account the 'harmony of the gospels' etc..when one reads the 'gospel of Thomas' etc..it along with other supposed addendums stick out like the proverbial sore thumb.
  23. Hi excie..regarding your siblings parish priest being celibate for the last three years..just ask him !! And I'm convinced there are differn't demons that inhabit the differn't churches.
  24. Listen you 'wet water immersifiers'..the malefactor on the 'cross' next to Jesus. Jesus counted him as 'saved'. Why, how.?? Was a bucket of water thrown over him to 'baptise' him.? Should this go to the 'silly forum'??!!
  25. Mark..with all due respect you might just as well say that you are flying on 'blind faith' regarding salvation or else you are 'befuddled' regarding the significance of it, speaking in tongues, the new birth, the purpose and power of the holy spirit. 'believeth UNTO salvation', 'believeth UNTO righteousness'. Saved by grace and not works of any kind my friend. Even Sudo is more than likely saved, (I bet that's what REALLY agravates him !!)
