  1. It was hard to read, because lots of words were written, but not a lot was said, if that makes sense. There is Truth. It is real. It is not confined to a tiny corner of the world at a tiny sliver of time. Though, it is there, also. If it can boxed up into a formulaic system, it is probably not Truth, but there might be a corner of that box pointing to Truth. It's hard to talk about, because it's beyond description. Stories and musings and theological treatises and doctrines can only ever be pointers. So it seems to me, but I know nothing. It's so silly to talk about...
  2. Yes. Absolutely. Indoctrination, conditioning, programming. And all the (shared) neurosis around not "thinking the word" correctly, requiring constant reproof and correction. "Thinking the word" is so mechanical and mathematical and contradictory and finely tuned, who could possibly "think the word" effectually. Well, the "spiritually mature," that's who. Who's that, you ask? Leadership... ....you should be so thankful for leadership... and round and round we go...
  3. Sorry. I just can't make sense of this sentence. Will you please rewrite?
  4. This missing wallet at the grocery store has happened to me. Maybe twice. Maybe thrice. I didn't get upset or blame the devil or otherwise freak out. I only lived 2 miles from the store, so they bagged and ticketed my groceries, stored them in the walk in, and promised to keep them for me until I returned. It was NOT a problem for the store, but especially not for me. I was not in battle with myself. I was not in conflict with myself. Shonta happens. Responding to this shonta with a still, ordered, unemotional mind will yield solutions and peace. This is wisdom. I don't remember how or where I learned it -- Hellenistic philosophy, Ancient Near Eastern thought, Ancient Far Eastern thought, the Bible, therapy, my mother... It's wisdom. If one calls it stoicism and another calls it renewed mind and another labels it something else, what does it matter? It's the same wisdom. And it's universally, throughly effectual. What I was taught by my twig commander was it absolutely matters where one gets this wisdom and what one calls it. I'm just gonna have to call bullshonta on that teaching.
  5. Right. Technically, a banana tree is not REALLY a tree.
  6. Is it in tongues? Is it danceable?
  7. Ching Chong. Does that answer your question?
  8. Just... just... ...tremendous accuracy! Mmm mmmph!
  9. The author also says to put on the armor of light, which is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Sounds like the Lord Jesus Christ is no longer absent. Must be a new administration. It'd be helpful if they issued an ECN for this.
  10. The Word is a word used to describe another word? What might that word described be?
  11. Ok. I renewed my mind to overcome the daunting task of reading that article. Whew!! Lots of things, but first -- I was impressed that she remembered that phone conversation with her Way sister lasted exactly 14 minutes. When she says the Word, what does she mean? Mike said the Word = YourBelieving+ChristInYou+TheBible+YourWalk.
  12. @Mike Mike: I have all kinds of suggestions for them on this. One is that they sell a nice boxed set of the PFAL on dvd format. They could include a nice hard-bound transcript and sell the whole thing for $200. I'll bet all the many grads with crumby VHS copies would be happy to get a high quality version of what they already have. Nate: Wait. WTF? After admitting to oodles and oodles of errors in the class, you are recommending repackaging this error laden class and selling it to unsuspecting dupes? With a transcript so they can pull all their hair out sorting the alleged wheat from the obvious chaff? For $200!!! Mike's suggestion is NOT a joke. It is a deception.
  13. Traffic lights are on a timer. A clock. You can’t beleeeve them to do anything at all. Want more green lights? Leave earlier. Or later.
  14. Ever try to stop thinking? Ever try to eliminate all thoughts from your consciousness? The harder you try, the worse it gets.
  15. You are only if you beleeeve you are. Seriously.
  16. The omission of Romans 13:13 is conspicuous. These verses explain how (H-O-W) to catch a green light. 60% of the time, they work EVERY time. Be happy for that. I wish you could read those verses in the original.
  17. Sorry. I haven’t read it yet. It’s daunting. I know it will trigger. And the author will be out of reach, literally, actually. So, I’ll have no recourse and won’t be able to reprove and correct in the way it might be done in the book of Numbers These markers are so consistent across the board, no matter where you live, your age or level of involvement — green lights and parking spaces.
  18. That’s how I understand it, too. Thousands of sources explaining this in various ways. Citation unnecessary for me. Someone? I get it now. So silly. But aren’t green lights a result of one’s beleeeving? So, one should REALLY be happy for their beleeeving, not the green light.
  19. I’m very familiar with this bullshonta. This I’ve never heard. Is it a non sequitor? Just hanging out in the text like… a duck? What do you think it means?
  20. A documentary, no less! Someone needs to find that prescient music coordinator,
  21. Is Loy the 8th THE Man of God?
