One of my concerns is... IMO, Law's and leglislation should be done in congress (either at the state or federal level) instead on the court room. Courts are to inforce exsisting law not to make new laws.

The problem of course is.... Does anybody snore I stayed up all night once to see if I snored --> At the risk of being yelled at.... :o--> At some point in time, do you think a "new thread" would be a good idea -->

Oldiesman, Not everything that twi taught was in error. Most of the stuff that they plagerized from other people/groups outside of twi is good.

Mike, I have a question… If the integrity of vpw is (at best) questionable… Then, wouldn’t any “revelation” that vpw reported to have be questionable? Can you expect a liar to tell the truth? Also, why would God give the type of revelation that vpw is said to have received who has “integrity issues” along with “alleged", “indiscretions”? The Bible states the qualities that leadership is to have. IMO, VPW, LCM and others fall very short of the standard set. [This message was edited by Zshot on February 02, 2004 at 12:38.]

I read his stuff many years ago... I think I still have his books buried someplace. Do you need some info from the books for some reason? If so, I will try to find them.. If not, I will just leave them buried someplace...

Over 20 years ago I was on "limb staff" for a year. I remember doing the "blue" forms and the "white" forms concerning ABS. The limb got back a print out of the amount the state had sent in. I was a young anal accountant at that time. I informed the LC who was sending in the blue forms late, filling them out incorrectely etc... I was informed that at on of the TC meetings that the LC pulled out all the notes I passed to him... I was told that the LC ripped a couple TC's a new one (if you know what I mean). I don't remember all the details that were on those forms. But, I do remember that a records were kept on file on who gave how much. I was told the records were kept for "tax" purposes...

Zix, Do you mean like... An expensive dinner? Gifts (Valentine's day, Christmas, Birthday, or anything in general). Work on her car, house, computer etc... Are you suggesting that women would use sex (or the lack there of) as a "bargaining chip" or as a form of barter? Does the term P. whipped mean anything to anybody? (I am trying to remember what the "P." stands for ;)-->) IMO, if any woman has done any of the above they are a "prostitute" and if any guy has done any of the above, he is a "John".

It should also be mentioned... on most of this spam, there is a "remove me" from list.... DON'T believe it. by going there, you verify your e-mail address. And, they sell your "addy" to some other business.

hmmmmmmmmmmm...... I wonder how shaz knows this? --> ;)--> Many years ago... I used to work "maintaince" at an apartment complex. It had a swimming pool and hot tub. There were many times that the tenants would put "Mr. Bubble" or dish soap in the hot tub. As well as leaving different "toys" along the deck... note to self... save up to install a hot tub in the back yard ;)-->

dmiller, This is NOT a "religious" site. Some people have a "chapter and verse" approach to worship. While others don't. How people choose to (or not) worship should be respected (even if we don't agree). If you want want to discuss "chapter and verse", may I suggest the doctrine forum.

I cooked a 5 lb rumproast in the crock pot (along with carrots, celery, onions and potatoes)... I also had some "Augsburger Christkindlmarkt" gluhwein (it's a German redwine with spices that you serve heated). Along with the traditional "eggnog" (more nog than egg, if ya know what I mean :P-->) Oh, and a small chocolate cake that I bought. I am still eating (and drinking) the leftovers from what I had to eat on Christmas day.

I am thinking about going to the Grand Canyon for a few days in April 2004. Anybody want to meet me there?
