  1. I wouldn't come out and name anyone here but Oakspear has come out and identified his pic that I posted... . . . . . So here's the next Greasespot poster. I won't name him either but welcome folks to give hints (but not his name) if they know.. MY hint is that he is married to another Greasespotter.... sudo
  2. Name that Greasespotter! He's standing in front of a waterfall at a not so long ago weenie roast.... can anyone name him WITHOUT giving his name? That is... tell us something about him that says you know who he is. Here's my hint... he's from a state known for maize. sudo
  3. Kathy, I know it now but I had to Google it. 'Ya know, I just haven't watched a lot of TV the last 15 years. But I used to sit glued to it as a kid. sudo
  4. Chas, I have to agree. Seven years???? I remember how lonely you were before the two of you met. Just goes to show how folks CAN live happily ever after. Good for the two of you. And BTW.. after Mathman got married we never saw him posting again. sudo
  5. Chatty, That's not Barney Miller or some cop show is it? It sounds late 70'ish to early 80's to my ears. Am I close on any of it?? sudo
  6. This one is for the princess. Bowtwi's princess of course. I heard she might be performing this song in the town's talent show and if so, Bowtwi will be making her a great costume. To those of you who haven't met her... she's a darling little girl. sudo

    I'm coming out

I guess I'll come out now about my real sexual identification. I'm a lesbian. For years I didn't know for sure what a lesbian was exactly but I just read what it is they like to do with women. It described me perfectly. But I'm not ashamed. I'm PROUD!!! sudo
  8. Clay, Are you familiar with the free movies online site? You can either watch on-line or download them to your hard drive and then burn yourself a DVD if you have software for doing that. The catch is that they are movies that have lost their copyright protection. Therefore.. they are usually not top notch movies. But some are really interesting. http://emol.org/movies/freemovies.html sudo
  9. Guys, So I did good, huh?? Now what do I do for an encore?? sudo
  10. I thought this was really a fun movie. My kids LOVED it. Here's another song from the movie and yes.. its in a long MP3 format but sounds pretty dang good. Click HERE! and visualize folks doing a calypso dance around the dinner table. :) sudo

Oak, Not on my blue suede shoes!!!! BTW.. Rick has "confessed" (and I affirm that no torture was employed) to being a desultory Christian. What say we ban him to a year in the chat room with Out There? sudo

    I'm coming out

Out There, Are you getting the message now that this is not a Christian forum? As far as your comments to me I'll just let them slide for now but I'm curious as to whether or not you're going to stick around. How was it you put it?? You were offended by non-Christian viewpoints? sudo
  13. Hollygolightly, I can understand their asking that. The family member could well be in the middle of finding truth as it has not been known since the 1st century. Or delivering homos from devil spirits. Now lets show a little respect for "the cult for our day and time". sudo (wondering if Holly has had breakfast at Tiffany's yet)

    I'm coming out

Out There, You've been misinformed. This is not a Christian forum. At least you just want to ban those who don't believe the way you do. That's a step in the right direction. Your predecessors would have preferred to have boiled the heretics in oil. Dang infidels. How DARE they show their font around good Christian folk like yourself? sudo
  15. George, So if you recognize that its a Tim Burton film then that means you know who the composer is, no? His work is very, uh, distinctive wouldn't you say? I bet the studio musicians have a hoot playing the score. Listen to those fiddles just tearing it up. Re:"How thoughtful! A wav file!" Ah! But you assume my MP3's are large files when many times they are not. Here's Thunder Road from the movie that I posted. Click HERE! and see how large the file is. Oh, I'll just tell you.. 337K. And the WAV file two posts up?? 494K! sudo
  16. Fun movie. Fun music though not so old. Click HERE! sudo
  17. Nandon, This sounds like usual life. She loves me she loves me not. Sometimes we trade the witch for the Devil in partners but I hope all works out for you. You weren't asking for advice per se but wanting to validate your feelings about why you feel good about being wrong??? That tells me you aren't settled in your mind about your personal life yet I'm no psychologist. So in short.. to thy own self be true. But it sounds like you're doing something you yourself don't approve of. sudo
  18. CROSS POST Thirty years ago today I was a senior in dental school. A classmate came running up the stairs out of breath announcing that Elvis had just been brought into the Baptist hospital ER DOA. It was less than 100 yards from where we stood and my first thought was that Memphis would make the evening news. Well make the evening news we did but I was shocked at the coverage. Elvis' death was treated as if the Vice-President had just died. 90% of the evening news was devoted to Elvis. I find it hard to believe that it was 30 years ago today. Arthur Hooten was one of my patients and to those of you who aren't Elvis fans, he was an early friend and associate of Elvis. He talked about Elvis at nearly each visit and entertained us with pictures of him and Elvis in days before Elvis was famous. Arthur died last year and didn't get a lot of press. Here's one of my favorite Elvis songs... sudo

  20. Kathy, I was thinking of your post #7017 on this thread. I just happen to have a FLV file you might like. Do you know the actor playing the jug??? You'll know the name even if you can't name him right off. And you want to know something else?? This might interest Rick more than it does you but you might note that this is on my little T1 server. :) sudo
  21. Rick, I know! I know! But I had to google. It was Julia Childs and Mel Torme, right? Hee-hee! Do I get partial credit? Say Rick.... that's some speed. Is this your personal at home computer? Is this business class or can anyone there get that? You're not talking bluzecentral.net are you? Oh so many questions. sudo
  22. Happy birthday 'ole graphic one!! sudo (who wishes he were nearly as talented)
  23. Chas, Good for you guys! Cats are fine but there's just something special about dogs IMO. I hope the adoption is a good match. sudo
  24. Chatty, Its good to see YOU here, too. And hey!~ Bulwinkl!! Have you had time to see what all we do here? This thread is the longest on the Greasespot though its been quiet lately. I see I've been too obtuse with information on the Thunder Road songs. See, I thought most folks would have known the first one (click HERE!) and would have scratched their heads like I would have done on the second one (click HERE!) But I see not everyone's seen the movie. Ah ha! So now its time to give hints. The singer in the first one isn't known as a singer at all but rather as a dramatic actor. Here he is singing again in another movie (click HERE!) and there's BIG time extra points if anyone knows this movie from the clip. There are a lot of hints I could give for that movie. In fact, let me just do it since its pretty obscure... its the only movie ever directed by the actor who played Inspector Javert. sudo
  25. George, You're right. The URL was wrong but try it now! However.. a state and a Sesame street character?? I.... don't..... think so but I could be totally missing your clues, too. sudo (thinks he may see a little sunshine... in the corner)
