songs remembered from just one line

after thinking about it I decided that is not easily recognized from only the first line. It belongs in name that tune instead. So I'm substituting another song, One that should be easily deduced.

"Hello ! is There anyone in there?"

I suppose this could all be considered "one line"...

Childhood living is easy to do , the things you wanted I bought them for you

if it helps any, I used to think the first line was "tired of living" but it doesn't make any sense when you put it with the other words...

That's gotta be Wild Horses by The Rolling Uglies

If I'm right, somebody take my turn--------------Pretty please?

I do believe it was bulwinkl's intent that clues be the first line of a song, and that they should be pretty EASY to recognize:

after perusing Name that tune topic I started thinking of songs that we remember from the first line. title not in first line.

Otherwise, it IS just "Name That Tune."

I'm supposing waysider was right.

Although we're not RESTRICTED to OPENING lines to songs, a few of those are rather recognizable:

"Please allow me to introduce myself- I'm a man of wealth and taste."

I'll take it.

"Sympathy for the Devil" by the Rolling Stones

"Let me tell you how it will be..."
