Four American soldiers in Iraq are caught in an ambush just two weeks before coming home. Much has changed when they do return home. One thinks he's Scottish warrior William Wallace fighting against England. Another finds that his wife is now a professional race car driver.

Starring Samuel Jackson, "50 Cent," Mel Gibson, and Bonnie Bedelia.

Stealth triple movie.

In this movie,

a frustrated office worker discovers that he inherited his dad's

superhuman killing abilities, which were an asset for his father,

a professional assassin.

In his first time out to use the skills, he covers his tracks by

framing a bunch of short friends for European jewel heist,

partly by employing a look-alike for their nominal leader.

They flee and go into hiding, and cross the path of a second-generation

bounty hunter, who's also looking into the jewel heist and the

would-be assassin for the CIA, in their search for global terrorists.

I have the first and the last. Working on the middle. Unless they are not in chronological order.

The middle bit (I'm presuming that it is) sounds like movies I know but none of the actors from them are in your clues. Actually now, I think I have the middle and the last. So.....

When WW calls something a "stealth" triple, that usually means that the middle show may have a single word title, or at least is completely contained in the first (or last) title.

I know and that seems to be the case here.

The movie Wanted stars James McAvoy and Angie Jolie is the single word title connecting up the Rutger Hauer, Gene Simmons movie.

Right.

You could go from the first to the third without losing any part of the answer.

I know and that seems to be the case here.

The movie Wanted stars James McAvoy and Angie Jolie is the single word title connecting up the Rutger Hauer, Gene Simmons movie.

It's a good title for connecting things.

Now if you get the title it connects to in FRONT, then you should be all set.

a professional assassin. (You guys figured this part out.)

In his first time out to use the skills, he covers his tracks by

framing a bunch of short friends for European jewel heist,

(This movie was pretty recent.)

They flee and go into hiding, and cross the path of a legacy (descended)

bounty hunter, who's also looking into the jewel heist and the

would-be assassin for the CIA, in their search for global terrorists.

Actors include: Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy, Terrence Stamp,

(You figured out that part.)

Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, Tina Fey, (and others, each in many roles),

(How is one actor in "many roles", and how are a few actors "each" in many roles?)

Rutger Hauer, Gene Simmons, Robert Guillaume (but NOT Steve Mc Queen.)

(Legacy bounty hunter, who's not played by Steve Mc Queen.

Why is he being mentioned at all when he's not in the movie?)

I don't recognize the plot of the Jewel heist movie. In my time here on the spot, I haven't heard of anyone mentioning the Rutger Hauer movie, except me. So, I'm stuck now. And I don't think George is familiar with the last movie either. Not really his vein of movie I'm thinking, or yours, for that matter WordWolf. My guess is you looked it up and found a movie that started with Wanted. Nothing wrong with that. I do it too.

The last part must be "Wanted: Dead or Alive." Steve McQueen starred in the TV show with that title.

So, Human, go for it!

George

AHEM!!!!

How is naming 2 movies in a TRIPLE ending the turn?

We have the 2nd and third movies named.

It was the 2nd I described, and the first in the title. It's still unnamed.

It's the movie with the jewel heist and the lookalike.

And it is DEFINITELY my category of movie, or at least really was, once.

You MIGHT have seen it, and it was fairly recent.

By "Go for it," I meant, "Give the answer," not "Take the next turn." :)
