Movie Mash-Up

This story has also been in theaters and TV a number of times. In fact, another version (better-received) hit the theaters shortly before this one. The other version bought up most of the period costumes in the US, so this version had to get them from Europe, delaying the production.

Michael Madsen was offered the role of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, but he couldn't get released from this film.

Gene Hackman was third-billed on this film, even though he only appeared onscreen for about ten minutes.

Are we still on Shakespeare, by any chance?

No. You're probably thinking of the ST episode "Conscience of the King." Let's change a couple of the clues to make it easier:

This story has also been in theaters and TV a number of times. In fact, another version (better-received) hit the theaters shortly before this one. The other version bought up most of the (Old West) period costumes in the US, so this version had to get them from Europe, delaying the production.

Michael Madsen was offered the role of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, but he couldn't get released from this film.

Gene Hackman was third-billed on this film, even though he only appeared onscreen for about ten minutes.

A version of this story appeared in the Star Trek episode, "Spectre of the Gun."

James D. Edwards III's social security number was 905-80-5406.

Don't blink or you'll miss the joke about Al Roker, Isaac Mizrahi, Danny DeVito, Sylvester Stallone, Dionne Warwick, Newt Gingrich, and George Lucas.

Ray-Ban really appreciated the boost in sales of their Predator 2 sunglasses.

I imagine getting the permits to film in the Queens-Midtown Tunnel and the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel

was done in one meeting for the producer or director.

This is merely a guess, Men In Black.

Your guess was correct.

James D. Edwards III's social security number was 905-80-5406.

Agent J's information was on display before it was deleted.

Don't blink or you'll miss the joke about Al Roker, Isaac Mizrahi, Danny DeVito, Sylvester Stallone, Dionne Warwick, Newt Gingrich, and George Lucas.

On-screen, they were shown to be aliens living on Earth who were being

monitored.

Ray-Ban really appreciated the boost in sales of their Predator 2 sunglasses.

Sales shot up of the same glasses used to deflect the neuralyzer.

I imagine getting the permits to film in the Queens-Midtown Tunnel and the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel

was done in one meeting for the producer or director.

They drove across the ceiling of the QMT,

and the BBT was where the entrance to MiB HQ was.

Today's movie feature presentation is described by critics as multi-genre, combines Science Fiction, Road movies, and Romance.

A satellite sends out a message of peace to any alien forms to come to earth. Upon it's decent the alien ship is shot down.

The movie had no less than 6 directors, only to end up with John Carpenter. Some of the directors left and made other successful movies, Flashdance and War Games.

This movie is distinct in that it is one of the rare instances where a film in the Sci-Fy genre received a nomination for acting, in this case Best Actor.

This was the directorial debut (of sorts) for a prolific comedic actor/director/producer.

The movie was originally titled "Key of Keys" before said actor/director/producer got his hands on it.

Two of the actresses appear in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice."
