TWI/MUSIC/"WAY PROD EARLY DAYS"/THE BEAT GOES ON/ETC.....

Oh well, I've decided that Spirit's stuff doesn't cut it as house-cleaning music. It's more for sitting and istening than flitting around the house dusting and singing along. Rats.

They were a good band, though.

Heh, you guys are funny. It did cross my mind that the absence of the ingredient named by Yana might change how I heard Spirit's music.

A little Traveling Wilburys or Tom Petty would have provided much better cleaning inspiration, I'm sure.

Tom's Bedtime CD Pick: Rick Wakeman's The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Very cool!

I never got to see Wakeman live, the only time I saw Yes was when Wakeman was on the outs with the rest of the band during the Relayer tour and had Patrick Moraz on keyboards.

In honor of April 15th, George "the quiet Beatle" Harrison sings:

The Taxman

Let me tell you how it will be

There's one for you, nineteen for me

Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Should five per cent appear too small

Be thankful I don't take it all

Cos I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman

If you drive a car, I'll tax the street

If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat

If you get too cold I'll tax the heat

If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet

Taxman!

Cos I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman

Don't ask me what I want it for (Aahh Mr. Wilson)

If you don't want to pay some more (Aahh Mr. Heath)

Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Now my advice for those who die

Declare the pennies on your eyes

Cos I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

And you're working for no one but me

Taxman!

Greetings to all of you amazing people! May I get in on this conversation? JN musical just runs through my mind and I'm singing away and all of a sudden I forget the next line. Today it was Brian Bliss, Let my Life Tell the Story. I decided to get online and try to find if any of the group's I can recall the names of are recording at all. I've had several CDs through the years and a record by that female duet who sing scripture songs like the books of Timothy and Acts.

there's never been any more fulfilling and uplifting music in my life! All of you wrote the most astounding lyrics right to the heart of the Gospel's purity ! And you all sang your hearts out. If anyone knows any of the groups or single musicians that have any recordings in CD format could you please let me know?
