Figures...the guy was from the District of Columbia Air National Guard. Around here, we all realize that the DC government has a hard time doing even simple tasks. Didn't realize it extended to their Guard, too.

It makes you wonder. Yes, we would like to think that no one would ever miss that poorly if they were focused..yet if it is THAT easy to miss.. perhaps this school should be moved?

isn't every parent going to feel just swell about sending their kids off to school now?
And who was the zoning genius who thought it would be great to put a bombing range and a school so close together?
Somebody should have some serious esplanin' to do, but, given who the guilty parties most likely are, I somehow doubt much of anything is going to come of it.
Doesn't everyone know so OBVIOUSLY that CNN is a propaganda machine slanted towards liberals and against the US machine? Its an ongoing battle between Socialism (i.e. redistribution of wealth among nations) and American Sovierenty (i.e. Capitalism) So, we as Americans are giving up our jobs, our wealth, our high living (compared to the rest of the world) so that everyone else on this planet benefits? But, biblically, the only ones that should and are blessed to benefit are Christians. Because we believe that 'God the Father is our suffiency' and not ourselves. The other nations are not trusting the true God for that and therefore..God decides whether they prosper or not. We should not be arbitrarily giving away what God has blessed us with to nations who do not know or trust Him. Frankly, I am surprised that we are even meddling with the Israeli/Palestinian situation. Remember Jehoshaphat? Geez...
If you ever do anything with or around firearms you learn the term accidental discharge.
What we had was an accidental discharge of a 20mm cannon. Get over it and move on. The only person that will be harmed from this is the pilot. This isn't/wasn't a software problem with an aircraft that has been flying since the late 70's.
I'd have a hard time "getting over it" if my little child attended that school. Thank God it wasn't when the kids were in the school and that none of the janitorial crew was hurt.
I'd repeat Geo's question: Why in the he|| is a school that close to a bombing practice site??
