Just to toss this into the ring- My grandmother lived to be 99-she said 100 and we gave her the year-what the hey...
She was born in 1901. She was amazed by cars, then airplanes, then by telephones,then by television, then romance novels, then by car phones, then computers. At one point my Dad had to get her into the car, drive to the local store and then let her use his car phone to call us back at the house. She giggled like a kid the entire time, and Dad said she told everyone in the store that she'd called from the Car...

I was also 22 when my first child was born and 35 when my second one finally arrived.
In a couple of weeks I'll be 1/2 of 90.

Well I just keep on thinking that in 50 days I'll turn the big 50. If I had known that I would be this old I would have taken better care of myself.
Yesterday I was half way down a ladder. My right knee hurt so bad I didn't know if I would get to the bottom.
