of course you should follow your heart, do what you want, etc., etc......
back when i (insecure lonely catholic incest survivor that i was) followed my heart, i really really wonder what i would have done if i had the internet....
some of the people i met were so great, i think so even now. i just would NOT have wrapped my life up into the way ministry
but youth, innocence, ignorance..... it's all behind me now, thank god
18? As a person, my desire is to say find out for yourself but give you all the warnings. My first instinct as a dad is to say "run like hell!" Seriously, it's bad. Please avoid them.
Okay. If you end up taking the "WAP" Class or the PFAL class, there is a webpage that will link you to articles to systematically debunk anything taught in these classes.
If you're still checking. One thing you have to come to grips with is do you believe there is a god and do you believe the bible is his word? Many who are out of the way still accept these ideas and have problems with how the way handles "the word" or their practical application of it.
This Article may give you some insight into whether you even want to accept those basic ideas.
