That’s a tough one Penguin2...you certainly have my thoughts and prayers right now...going on my own experience i feel that anyone that gets into the law of believing, the health and wealth gospel , the power of the tongue, etc. will tend to put themselves under needless pressure in hopes of achieving the desired result... I do get the idea of having a fighter attitude but I don’t think that means to beat up on yourself...I recently saw a news spot about a young girl with a prosthetic leg who was a gymnast - and she was doing things that were amazingly nimble on high beam and floor mats...at the end in an interview I don’t remember how she put it exactly- but she was looking at her prosthetic leg and said rather than succumb to self-pity she said something like “this is the way it is now and this is what I’m going to do about it”... I remember some of the ways life is portrayed in the Bible (from Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Life” ) is that life is a test, an assignment, and a journey...for some biblical inspiration on having a fighter attitude I look to the lives and tough circumstances of folks like Peter, Paul and of course Jesus Christ...I don’t think the fight is really about beating down the negatives or pretending all is well...it’s about seeing things as they really are now and deciding what we’re going to do (and think) about it so we can carry on.

I had the same issue with the law of believing, which is crap. Put and keep your faith, believing in God and Jesus Christ, we arent responsible to fulfill God's promises, God is. We receive through trust in God. Let your heart rest in God's goodness. And forget about making people happy, keep your thoughts focused on rhings above. The magpies are full of sh1t. I'm so sorry for your struggles and what you are going through. For encouragement, we all do have an expiration date upon this earth. We all do not necessarily know when that date is, in spite of our struggles or facts we are faced with currently. This is all the more reason to live the days we do have left like we want to. Like a warrior. With our kids.

Don’t know about “moving the Word,” but it strikes me that as far as WoG=WoG goes, this is the Will of God: Ezekiel 33:11- Say to them: 'As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! And I Tim 2:3-4 - This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. I doubt that much that we did helped people make the decision to “turn from their ways,” nor “come to a knowledge of the truth.” Unfortunately (God forgive us), too much that we did moved people into mere existence, and not “life in all its fullness.”

Though the particular expression born from above is not used by Paul, he handles the concept in depth in Romans through Thessalonians. You did say the expression born again only appears in 1 Peter. Im saying it specifically appears in John 3 as the prophecy of the new birth was unveiled to Israel by Jesus of Nazareth, a prophesy fully realized on the day of Pentecost as holy spirit descended on the apostles as cloven tongues of fire.

I like to listen to different Bible teachers on You-tube and read books about the Bible from different scholars. There are many many people who have studied the Bible for years and have a lot to share. It now amazes me that I accepted one class as the final say on God's Word. We were programmed that we were not to consider any teachings from any other source other than VP or PFAL or the higher-ups in TWI. Blows my mind now that I look back on it. We were led to think that we were so special and we had the Truth, unlike all the other schlubs in the body of Christ who didn't have the knowledge that WE had. Oh yes, we were SO special. And I would like to add that sometimes these Bible teachers don't agree. Does that mean I have to close myself off? The worst that can happen is I have to know I don't know about something.

It's not honest and lacks integrity, but this should come as no shock by now. It's really cute the way these splinters like to refer to the GSC and explain why they're not going to explain. Lots more people got deliverance here and got on with their lives than they've actually HELPED. Perhaps it's "deliverance envy". How many groups suffer, in fact, from "deliverance envy"? George
