  1. Tactics to keep us in the fold. That's exactly what they did and still do.
  2. See my post on the financial statement thread.
  3. A friend of mine who was pretty high up on the twi ladder questioned Rosie about the dwindling ABS. Her answer was something like it doesn't really concern me because we have more than 40 million in savings. Twi is just a money grab that's all. I think they would have done more good for mankind selling something tangible like "reading glasses" or something we could really use now in our old age.
  4. Recenetly I was reminded of times when something different from the social norm would show up in the news that HQ and the MOG would use it as a call for us to pledge our alllegiance to twi more than ever. For instance when the first Harry Potter movie came out we were warned that the adversary was after our minds more than ever and that we had to stick together because the world was going "to hell in a hand baket" Same thing with "Y2K" and any show on TV that had a homosexual influence. One reason why it was so hard to leave. We were actually led to believe we of the fold were the only sane people left in the world. Well the world is still here and I've come to make many good friends since leaving twi. Better quality people than most I knew who were involved in the way. Anyways, I thought it might help others if we came up with a few more "to hell in a hand basket" lies we were told.
  5. Happy Birthday Paw- Thanks for this great site.
  6. No freekin way. Until they start makin' better cars I'm buyin' imports. Maybe someday they'll listen. My son has a GM=constantly breaks down. I have a Toyota=never breaks down.
  7. They may change the way they act. (it's just a show) But they can't change the way they think. That's the way they have been programmed. Just shoot me, for thinking about that place.

    Guitar Talk

Any of you guitar players into helping me with a lead track for a country style song I have written. Please pm me.
  9. That's gotta be John Prine. I love that guy.
  10. If I had it do over again with my kids. I would have just taught them myself in my home. Isn't that what many did throughout the bible. Why do we need these ugly buildings. Even twi folks can be nice, unitl they get you into their fold. It's all part of the act. If you do want a group, go first without the kids. Do some research. You have to protect them. As for me I'd keep it between a few friends or relatives.
  11. No I would not have done that. I remember leadership asking us in a meeting one time that if the MOG told us to do something that was "in the world's eyes a wrong thing" would we do it. A few of us (me included, put up our hands and said no). Well that was the wrong answer and got lambasted for about 10 minutes about why we were wrong. However most of us here who were in any type of leadership position knew that Those were the kind of people LOY had around him. People who would do anything for the cause. Yes men, hit men, whatever you want to call them. They were given the lofty positions. Those who didn't respond to LOY's call to "confrontation" in other words ba a @@@hole or to do whatever he told you to do, were simply shelved, hung out to dry.
  12. That about sums up most so called Christian groups. I think if you have any kind of legal help especially in the psychiatry field. They will be glad to help you uncover what is really going on.
  13. Thanks for posting but I think it should read "how the way ruined my life".
  14. Welcome to life, with no strings attached.
  15. My thanks as well to all those serving past and present. Your courage and commitment is much appreciated.
  16. ##it happens. Just glad is wasn't a Polar Bear.
  17. Yeah I was going to say the same thing "tell them to watch the singing ladies" that'll do it. Or give them the same dose of wayspeak they used to tell us "can a leopard change his spots"?

    Vegas

Goin' to Vegas for a week in December. Anyone have any suggestions for what would be the most interesting things to see and do such as shows, restaurants and such?
  19. I agree the hair doo is not "puffy enough".
  20. My wife say to tell you she thinks you are a gem. She was one of your corps sisters. Happy Birthday.
  21. Some maybe linked to hormones but had very bad acne as a teen. What did it for me was I quit eating anything with sugar that's what worked. No medication helped. Worth a try.
  22. Stay your mind to walk in the renewed inner man in the household of Zion in fellowship with those who have their eyes enlightened to walk in the mystery of the riches of the hope of glory of Christ in you with a further view to manifesting holy spirit to believe to walk in operation of all nine all the time to produce all the fruit of the spirit and stand in light of the prevailing present truth of the word as a witness to the truth let your light in a dark and perverse world and all that crap-lo shata lo shanta.h
  23. You can wear glasses, they will have full face masks for you.
  24. Happy Birthday-I don't want to harp on you but keep on playin' the blues.
  25. Now you're talkin' Key West is my favorite place. I'm there every winter. Make sure you see Mel Fisher's museum and the Bufferfly museum. If you like pubs you have to visit the Scooner Warf, and the Hogsbreath. (See Rave Tues. at the Schonner Wharf.) If you can take a sunset cruise on one of the tallships. Some good snorkeling around there too. Restaurants-got to go to Blue Heaven, Conch Republic.
